The gameplay of this game tickles my percussionist brain in all the right places, its just a really fun rhythm game/mechanic. Plus, i love Crypt of the Necrodancer, so more of that is always well appreciated.
This is NOT the kind of sound I was expecting when I saw Alex Moukala's name attached to this track. I like it! It's dramatic and very energetic. Fitting for a dramatic bout with an evil wizard in a dimensional wormhole. (Is that how the premise to this game goes?? I don't actually know, I'm not very well versed in the Necrodancer storyline.)
I don't think devs gave much info on the premise apart from what we were given in official trailer. Devs usualy post some stuff on their official Discord channel like art and teasers maybe they posted something about the premise but I guess we'll find out more closer to/on release.
@@Viovel Yep. Here's official Switch trailer th-cam.com/video/DfFfuKFl2mA/w-d-xo.html, however release date is still to be announced. In the mean time you can check out their previous game Crypt of the NecroDancer which is also available for Switch.
Tbh the only reason I clicked was that the art looked cool and kinda looks like a cooler version of princess peach. The music is pretty cool too though
This is the OST of a spinoff of Crypt of the Necrodancer, a rhythm roguelike, also full of bangers, go check it out (or the Rift of the Necrodancer demo before the 27th)
Thing is, there's another Nintendo princess who was related to Cadence - Zelda! There's a crossover game where Cadence (the girl on the art) appears in Hyrule, and helps saving the kingdom. So that comparison with Peach isn't too far-fetched The game's name is "Cadence of Hyrule" and gameplay wise it's pretty similar to "Crypt of the NecroDancer"

Periodically, it seems to me that I hear the shopkeeper from Crypt of the necrodancer singing
0:39 BEATS DROP!
This type of comment never fails to make me chuckle a little 'cause... Is it still a drop if you skipped the buildup ?
At first i didnt like this track that much... But the ending oh I just love it!

I really like the bold and clean art style of the new game.
I came for everything to do with this game - music, art, creativity and the hype. Love the creative work made by BYG studio

You heard it here first, guys. Cadence is a cooler Peach.
