What a season! A fantastic achievement. My key moments. 1. The win at Cardiff to take 2nd place over the World Cup break. 2. The win at Sunderland, never looked back after that. 3. Following the tangle with Wrexham, Cup run proved to be a nice distraction after all.
Big moment for me was the late Khadra goal vs. Swansea. That's when I saw we could pull a result out from anywhere. Easy to say now, but I was pretty confident from that point on.

It was nice to see a lot of reflection from pundits post-season on us regarding us not getting enough credit. Never crumbled under pressure. Injuries, transfer embargoes, club finance speculation. A lot of talk understandably around Company/Burnley, Carrick/Middlesbrough, Luton etc through the season, but my lord what a job Hecky, Jack and McCall did this season. Back in the big time. I'll take 17th all day every day. UTB.
How Hecky wasn't even nominated for an award says much about the politics involved in football. To include Robbins and Carrick ahead of him is scandalous.
