  • Doing an all keys lost on Honda, programming smart keys without a working key. This is fastest scan tool programming for keys that I've had to date on this car using the budget pro OBD scanner: Vdiagtool VD70 on a 2013 - 2017 Accord. This professional OBD2 scanner packs a lot of value for its price. If considering a pro OBD2 scan tool for DIY or a shop, it's worth checking out this tool.
    Get from Amazon:
    - Vdiagtool VD70 scanner (Use DIYVVD70 to get 10% OFF valid till May end 2024) - amzn.to/3UXrh9f
Check out other tools & products I use or recommend - amzn.to/42LGCL8
I may earn a small commission from a purchase made through the links above. This does not increase the price you pay in any way.

So happy these scan tools have come along, there's no need to pay the dealership a few hundred dollars just for a key.

Exactly. Can you believe that only dealerships can do Benz keys for 2016 or so up? Still waiting tor the 1st 3rd party scanner that would crack the code.

@@DIYAutoworksNG I didn't know that about Mercedes, that kinda says something about the people in charge of the company. I hate to even ask but I wonder what a new Mercedes key would cost the customers?

You don't want to ask that question. Can be up to $500, but hey, it's a luxury brand 😃

Yep. Your MP808 will do this same all keys lost for this car. It just takes a lot more steps if I recall.
      Thanks for watching!

You're welcome. Yes, as I mentioned in the main video, I believe the 2 companies share research and development.

Wow I wish I could afford one, would be handy to have.
Since you're a Honda head like me, can you suggest a trusted cheap online store for honda parts that offers free shipping within the US?
I gotta save on shipping since my forwarding agents charges 50$ per kilo from US to UAE. And no I can't find the parts I need locally since my Accord is US Spec.

Hey. It really depends on what you're buying. Rockauto.com is another store to look at, they don't stock OEM, but can have some good OE manufacturer stock.

Right. I mostly use Amazon and hondapartsnow.com for OEM stuff.
