There will only be one..... ERICK SERMON... ONE OF THE GREATEST PRODUCERS IN HIP HOP 💯
E-Double is one of the all time greats along with Preemo, Pete Rock and RZA just to name a few
STRICTLY BUSINESS was released in 1988 and is still pure fire 30+ years later!! ....salute🍷
I will be toasting with you on that one....in a couple of seconds. #salute
abandoned failer I like that they always had "Business" in the title of their albums. Unfinished Business is definitely my 2nd best EPMD album. The original Gold Digger song. Hardcore was classic af. I remember when Redman's Hardcore verse was used to promote his debut album. EPMD had so many samples on their album that other mfs later used. Funky Piano before Mr All That (Da King & I). Manslaughter before Scandalous (Luniz). Brothers On My Jock before Daytona 500 (Ghostface). For My people before No more Fun and Games (The Game). Their first 4 albums were classics. Unfinished Business is my fav. But I like their first 4. Sidnt care for the others. Liked all of Erick's solo albums. The first PMD Shade Business album was ok. But couldnt f^%$ with No pressure. After EPMD broke up, Das went with PMD. Keith and Redman formed Def Squad with Erick. But K Solo was left tf out. SMMFH. Glad I was part of this era. Music will never be the same.
@@dianevrules those first four are classics, but the first reunion album gets slept on. After that I don't really like them as much.
Him and Pete Rock TOTALLY underrated on the producing side.. Oh, and 9th wonder
EPMD set the tone with clever samples and a unique rhymestyle that was reminiscent of the West coast. Everyone rocked with EPMD, one of my favorite hip hop groups. Long live real hip-hop.
I was just thinking about E.P.M.D. a couple days ago and even bumped a few tunes by them. 🤗
My era......we was so lucky to have those days to call our own. Fun fun times. Erick Sermon a living legend and very intelligent brotha. Much love.✊💖
I sincerely thank you sista for taking care of yourself and ending up so beautiful I appreciate what it took for you to be beautiful I can tell by your comment your beautiful inside and out.
Marley Ex thats wasup i been a fan of epmd since bk then dude a legend and a very underrated producer
Sermon! one of my fave producers, and definitely slept on. Definitely gonna check out the new album!
Eric Sermon$ hell yeah yo! EPMD BRUH$💯 these youngstas don't know bout him...him Big Daddy Kane.....Eric B and Rakim.....Run DMC.....
I got some throwback EPMD on my playlist, I always supported EPMD, Erick has always been underrated in my opinion
@Malcolm Darden Facts, I gotta sit down and listen to those PMD joints
I got the whole epmd collection and ED solo collection pmd collection. Classic emcees all day
Hell, I still got the cassettes....strictly business, back to business, all of them
Erick went straight at Kodak Black....glad someone had the sense to point out this disrespectful culture.
For real.. Sermon spiiting facts abouts streaming too and like my man said, it only happens in our culture... when whites are 40+ they are seen as when they are 30, even in there 50s 60s they are revered and respected.. in rap the youngins look at 40 as old and past it.. crazy, in all honesty the nicest rappers are 40+ fab / Jay z / Jadakiss / Nas / common / etc
@@lastonewon ALL the nicest rappers are in their 40s. theres exceptions obviously but yeah it's just weird because all the legends from the 90s were in their early 20s sometimes not even in their 20s but they were making grown man music. now the kids that age are making kid music and even the jcoles and kdots didnt *really* get on until their late 20s close to 30.
Green Eyed Bandit stayed with the toughest albums for a rapper/producer! 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿legendary
I like how Easy mo sampled his voice on 2pac's temptations
Erick sermon should be on the level dre at
@@TruthFLA That a lie his resume is just as good or better. From the beats and being a lyrical spittah, E.D resume is Thick
E Double flipped certain samples before anyone else did , talented man, Respect!!! Hip Hop is in the building
From what I understand, P was responsible for most of the production on the first three EPMD albums. Erick took over on Business Never Personal and you can hear the difference. That kinda makes sense 'cause around that time the Hit Squad was blowing up and P was holding down the business side as well with Shuma Management. I guess he passed the production reins to Erick so he could focus more on the business end. Regardless of who brought what sample to the table, they were responsible for bringing some legendary samples to the table...
I'm signed up and crate digging. This is a blessing. All Praises to whoever came up with this. Now the New Golden Era of Hip Hop can begin.
The green eyed bandit......true living legend in my books. Long live brother! His voice....is it just me or should he one day feature in a gangster- mafia kinda movie? Sounds like one of those big dons in those movies.
I hear voices saying that’s ERICK SERMON!
Nick nack cadi lac sittin on chrome, paying on my car note instead if my home
Not only from the women but from the men u know what it feels good my friend
Man just a couple of months ago I was listening to 4,3,2,1 and me being a beat junkie decided to look up who produced it and found out it was Eric Sermon.
Jackson Avian if you really do your research about DefJam and how Lyor Cohen pushes Rick Rubin out who is a great producer in itself and then understand why Eric Sermon was the DefJams in house producer. This man got catalogs
Erick Sermon is one of the best producers and MC's. #Vernia #Go

BTW, Unfinished Business is my fav EPMD album. That record sampled so much ish before other mfs. Get The Bozack before Where My dog's At. Please Listen To My Demo before Tonight's Tha Night. So Wat Cha Saying before Stranded On Death Row. Knick Knack Patty Wack before OG California Love. It Wasnt Me It was The Fame before Sugar Hill Remix. Classic ish. Speaking of the AZ song. The Gimmie Yours Erick Sermon Remix is classic af.

How can I invest in Erick Sermon's Companies?
Erick Sermon has one of the best voices in Hip Hop 😎
Maad Respect to the Green Eyed Bandit E-dub from Germany/ Europe.
His funky Production with the extra Bounce was hard to handle as an MC. Only the Best Rapper could compete like Red, Keith, Lady Luck, Busta, Meth, Luda.
Def Squad still one of the best Group in Hip Hop

This is a humble brother. Back in the 90’s my Cuzin introduced me to “E” while he was in St Augustine Florida visiting his grandma. This cat hung out with us us at the Blue Goose Club. He just a good down to earth brother from the back woods of St Augustine.
Always loved his beats. His new album is fire too.

VERNIA has restored my faith in hiphop. My prayer is that this album changes the way old school rappers feel about putting out good music.
This album proves if you do put out good music, the old fans and NEW fans will come!
I want this album on CD! F*ck mp3, this is historic, I want a physical piece of history!
Just wish Redman was on this!
#ClassicAlbum
