Imagine using Starlink! You could go literally anywhere with a solar plane! And if you go low on power, just land somewhere remote and let the sun recharge it! I would love to fly in Africa and watch some lions!
Welcome back mate have missed your vids so much. Thank you for that beautiful tour of the beautiful islands around you and the one you live on. Congrats on your new little man. Much love to you and your family.❤❤❤❤
Welcome back and congratulations on the family edition. I dont have a Disco but do have the Bebop1 and Bebop2 along with the Anafi and Dju Mini 1. Of all of them I must say the Bebop2 is my GoTo drone, Sturdy, Reliable and good enough video for generL youtube. DJI is really too light for Irish winds a lot of the time. Love your Drone reviews. Other thinng that gets me is after all the Parrot flying, I sometimes forget to turn the camera on the DJI.
This was amazing, thank you. I've been watching your content for a few years now and thinking about delving into this hobby. Watching this as I'm waiting on my mini 2 to arrive. These long flights are always my favorite!
You question at 42.43 about Molokini. It was made by volcano underwater. It made small island. Then had a eruption and blew out side of crater and eroded part of it away. Just like mashed potatoes and gravy. Same as back side of Haleakala. Kapo gap was where lava drained out of crater. Little history lesson. Aloha. Thanks for all cool vids. Local boy living in mainland.
This footage is excellent. I'm glad I was able to find it on TH-cam. I lived in Kihei from 1987 until 2020 and hope to be moving back someday soon. Our home was on the corner of Namau'u Place and South Kihei Road right across the street from waipuilani Beach Park. Thank you again and God bless you
Congrats, on the addition to your beautiful Fam. Love your vids. Learn drones, solar and battery tech, geography, geology and history of Hawaii, volcanic history of the area, all thru your calm friendly voice. Picked up a disco and the 4g mod items a couple years ago, and haven't put it together yet...... this summer it will fly!
CONGRATULATIONS on your new addition to your family! That is awesome! Nothing is better than this. Family first. Videos if/when you have the time. Cheers!
Hello Dustin, what a beautiful gorgeous paradise of Hawaii, awesome flying and love that extended range and photography. Hope to one day to visit that great land and sea , right now I am planning on making a trip to argentina on a motorcycle. And your drone setup would help me to document my trip as I travel thru the roads mountains and lakes. Gonna try to do your set up , might need some help here in there if you are available , thanks again for putting up some awesome videos .good job.
Love these long videos, great to watch when I am heading to bed, puts my mind in a very restful space and always enjoy the Hawaiian scenery. Congratulations on the new addition to the family too!
Fun story... I used to work for the company that makes the cell signal booster. When they were designing that particular model, I told one of the engineers in passing that I was going to be road tripping across the country. He then gave me a prototype of it and asked if I'd install it in my car and gather some data for them during my trip. It worked great except for a couple hiccups. Anyway, they took my data and made a few tweaks for the final product and then let me keep the prototype. I still have it and use it today.
Thanks for the enjoyable experience Dustin. You've given me something to consider in the future about adding a "Wing" to my fleet. At least I have this wonderful video to watch until then. Hawaii is SO beautiful.
Congratulations to you and your family for the new baby. This is really the best kind of remote flying. This has the feeling of real adventure about it. Dustin makes it all seem easy and relaxed but I’m sure he feels the excitement of it all. I’m impressed by the 4g coverage in such remote areas. There are dead spots all over my town and not just because of buildings. Another great video. Thanks for sharing it.
...Incredible footage, thank you for making and posting this video. Yes, at 16:04, there's a bunch of animals---wild pigs? Running along the bottom edge of the screen. Slick.
Dustin. First of all congratulations to you and your wife on the birth of your beautiful baby! Best wishes to your family. So happy to see you back out with the Disco on a fantastic scenic and epic flight- WOW!!! Loved it. Please please do more with the Disco. I still have mine and to be honest not flown it for a few years, but this summer will definitely be getting some new batteries and will be flying some adventures here in the UK, thanks to you. Again best wishes and i look forward to seeing more of your awesome videos. Cheers George. :)
Great to see you back! Just so you know, if you turn off wifi on an iPad from the control centre, your wifi will still be on it will just turn off the ability to connect to a wifi network temporary. If you want it to not interfere at all you should go in the settings and turn it off there. You will see the wifi logo grey in the control centre and that means that it's turned off! The same goes for bluetooth. Hope to see more in the future! :)
Gratz for the new little one! Cute family! Those solar panels are expensive! The whole setup is super expensive! Plus most of the parts are no longer available. Be a pain to build this today.
Yooooo dude just clicked on to your Chanel and just said you uploaded 1 min ago love your content dude just ordered a mavic 3 and a DJI fpv drone can’t wait to get back into the hobby love your content dude
Great to see you back Dustin, and Congratulations to you and your wife on your new son. Excellent video as usual. Keep them coming! Also, if there are any lower priced Quads you might have to Demo would be great. Some of us don't fly enough to warrant purchasing a Cadilac and prefer a Buick, if you know what I mean. Something under 400.00 to 500.00 price range would be nice. Thanks Dustin and hope to see more videos soon.
Great video. Please keep producing them, especially over the coast line around the island. They are helping to relax after work, and dream about visiting Hawaii someday. Thanks in advance.
Thank you Dustin that u chose the Disco as ur Favourite Plane. Trust me Bro, it really is. So proud that I own one since 2017. Sad that Parrot has discontinued it.

Frist of all CONGRATULATIONS on your new addition. Seeing pics of Kaoulave(sic) brought me back some memories. Spent some time in the Navy trying to sink that island. Glad we never succeeded. Great video. Amazing the distance of this flight. Give some motivation to try fly my drone.
Great video Dustin. I love Maui. My wife and went on our honeymoon there in 2013. We are hoping to make it out next year for our 10 year. Thanks for making these awesome videos!
Well, 1st off, congrats on the new addition to the family. I guess you guys won't be 'empty nesters' for some time now. I was glad to have this diversion, as I had intended to do my 1st outdoor bicycle ride today (temp hit 80F with a south wind - rare here in April). Took off from my home, and the main Shimano shifter for my back 7 gears was locked up (in 3rd gear). I could shift the gears by the crank, so moved them up to the highest (3rd) and after not being able to pound it into working in a parking lot 1 mile out, I turned around & came home. Looks like the shift module on the handle bar will need to be replaced. Enjoyed the long voyage .. although I was getting nervous, as I know how you like to cut things close. When you flew over that 'nude beach', I was thinking it was the same one you flew over with your XK X380 years ago, but I think it was a different one. I still have my X380 & fly her a few times a year. I'm in the process of replacing the battery telemetry module, so I can keep track of the battery power. You know what happens to the X380 if you try to ascend when the 'big eye' is blinking red! As for the restrictions, these newer
