They beat Oregon the first time without McMillan. In the games during the middle of the season without McMillan they’ve they’ve averaged 395 yards of offense. With McMillan they’ve averaged 536. If you throw out the first 3 games it’s 506. Either way the Huskies with McMillan are 100 yards more effective than without.
481 yards against Oregon and 532 against Texas is impressive. Those aren’t bad defenses.
Coincidently McMillan averaged 100 yards per game in the 3 non conference games and the two against Oregon and Texas.
That’s what stats don’t account for… injuries. They also try to say the conferences are all equal in offensive and defensive strength, but given each team plays 1 Power 5 team out of conference out of 13 games…. It’s not very realistic to assume the stats paint a true picture.

Very true and great points. They aren't bad defenses, but Michigan has looks so insanely good defensively, especially on the D-line against Bama, but then again, all Washington has done is put up yards and points and the Big 10 isn't known for its explosive offenses. Like Ted said, styles make fights, Washington could go in there and put on a clinic. That is what makes this game so exciting for sure

@@Bigtenshow Yep. So hard to handicap between conferences. Michigan on paper does have better stats but I guess we’ll find out on Monday.. Can’t wait! 👍
