Years ago there was a landscape business where I live, and at Christmas time they would have quite a few Beautifully decorated Christmas trees, and have a Christmas open house. If I was in a Grumpy mood, I'd drive out there and walk around and look at all of the Beautiful Christmas trees. They went out of business many years ago. Thank Goodness TH-cam has come along, and if I'm having a not so good day, I can watch Decorate with Dana, and get Inspired, with your Beautiful Decor. You have a very calming voice. Since I retired in 2020 I have made an effort to improve my home and gardens, creating an oasis where I feel safe and enjoy spending time. I heard a creator say she was going to decorate even more this year because she just needed it. With everything going on, it is nice to just take a break and think about something else, thank you. Oh dear Dana. 💛 We can't help but have a heavy heart these days. It is all just so sad. I try to keep up with what is going on in the world around us because even if I don't know personally the people that are being affected by these absolutely horrific circumstances, I have such empathy for them. It really brings me to tears. However, I feel that at the same time I need to stop and have a change of mind, for my own mental health. I thank you so much for raising the subject. I thank you for being here to brighten our day and for putting a smile on our faces.

Aww, I feel the same way about what's going on around the world as you and many others do 😢. I don't like watching the news, it effects me, since I'm an hsp (highly sensitive person). My husband watches the news and I see bits and pieces, but I just can't be inundated with it, let alone with watching graphic movies! 😨

I have a mix, a nativity under our main tree, one in our dining room on the buffet and one in our bedroom. Then, like you, lots of red, cute, and sweet decor with beautiful greenery.
