While I do love that Beau was worried about Yasha getting up to the gem with her sword, obviously. But of all the characters in this game, she's the one that could have handled it the most! High Constitution Saving Throw, resistance to Necrotic damage, and A LOT of Hit Points! That challenge feels like it was meant for her to deal with! That being said, even Telekinesis and Dispel Magic did nothing, so I wonder if anything could have been done anyway!

I felt exactly the same way until Yasha's letter and...now it actually makes a lot of sense. Beau is all of the things that Ashley said, and it makes a lot of sense why Yasha would seek that out. It really changed my mind. It still feels like Marisha is doing a bad caricature of a lesbian, but I cannot look past that and at least see it from Yasha's side. Going deeper, I see a lot of myself in Beau, and reflecting on it I think I was projecting my own self esteem on Beau in thinking that she doesn't deserve anyone. Sorry in advance for over-sharing.

I think it was just bad luck, Liam rolled pretty low on that dispel magic.
