- Real Madrid recorded their first loss of the season in the derby against Atlético Madrid at the Metropolitano (Atlético de Madrid 3-1 Real Madrid). Atlético took an early lead thanks to Álvaro Morata, which was then doubled by a strike from Antoine Griezmann. Real Madrid managed to pull one back thanks to a long-range strike from Toni Kroos in the first half, but it was Atlético who started the second part better with Morata getting on the scoresheet again. Despite a number of substitutions from Ancelotti and chances in the second half, Real Madrid were unable to stage a comeback at the Metropolitano. Ancelotti's team now turn to their midweek LaLiga encounter against Las Palmas at the Bernabéu.

Sin duda alguna Ancelotti pierde el partido desde que informaron el 11 titular, no puedes cambiar el esquema de un partido para el otro, la defensa mal toda jugada al principio le hacen gol nos ha pasado en todos los partidos de liga y un equipo sin ideas yo sé que si Bellingham, Brahim, Rodrigo y etc jugarán en un equipo que tienen las ideas claras como el City, Bayern o hasta en el Barcelona les sacarán más provecho pero es un equipo sin ideas al atacar y defendiendo mal, sinceramente no hay nada que se pueda resaltar en lo colectivo como siempre solo dependemos de individualidades y alguna suerte de un error del rival o un rebote para hacer gol pero ya esto debe cambiar, si hoy sufrimos contra el Atlético que es de lo más ligero en Europa esperen se cuando nos toque un peso pesado, si por mi tuviera que tomar decisiones ya desde la temporada pasada Ancelotti tenía que irse y la gente se burla de Joselu pero le dió otro aire al Madrid porque también libera a Rodrigo y meter a Modric y Kroos juntos ya no sirve son muy lentos al defender pero parece que Ancelotti no aprendió la lección contra el City y despues nos quedamos sin un jugador que crea las jugadas

It sucks, but it's good to know that even when our defense is lacking and attack seems unimaginative, it takes a non legal goal (1st atleti goal was after a clear foul on Bellingham), a clear red not given (Gimenez foul on Rodrygo was both a reckless tackle and the last man) and a regular goal disallowed (Rudiger didn't effect the play) for real to lose.
