Thank you, I have a 7 year old show cocker, buzz cut as he’s an “outdoors adventurer” lol. Looking for a decent harness. He’s been camping with me few times, looking forward to getting him back out camping again, it’s been too long. Cracking review, love how you attached the torch.... 👍
Hi, great review. I have an 8-month-old Show Cocker Spaniel and planning on wild camping and hiking trips in the mountains. I was thinking of the Ruffwear webmaster, so I can lift him over terrain easier. I was wondering what made you choose the Front Range harness as we have similar dogs? Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks
That’s a very good question as I considered that harness. Two reasons I didn’t go for it. Firstly as I transfer my dog on the back seat of my car in the harness clipped to the seatbelt clips, I wanted to avoid her becoming potentially uncomfortable by to many straps. Secondly, the more I took her out into the hills the more I realised I won’t need to pick her up. She can jump, scramble and climb almost anything we encounter! The front range harness perfectly met my needs for durability, weight and comfort for my dog.
Can I just state high quality stitching means f all. Stitching is done by a machine and will always look neat. What matters is "high quality cotton" which stands up to strain and getting wet and dry regularly. So stop using meaningless buz phrases.
Thank you for this review! Ive been looking for a new harness for my dog, I think ruffwear might be the way to go! 😀

Glad you liked it. Can’t beat camping with the dog!
Thanks for the great review.. What make is the clip on torch you have for the front?
What size do you use for your dog, I have a cocker spaniel puppy currently. Thanks!
She’s in the small size🙂
