Howdy brother- really nice job getting the stump out. I’ve dulled quite a few chains doing that. I never had any success trying to burn them out. Take care and God bless

You used the right saw and chain and executed this correctly. This pays if one is in good physical condition.

When ur arms are to soar or if u dont have a chainsaw the next best thing is a drill with 1 inch inch or 7/8 wood chisel bits. Drill in and then start making wide circles and the sides of chisel with take out little chunks but they add up fast. Especially if your worried about hitting dirt

Good video and job. Years ago I sawed one that had a small rock in it. Good luck hope yours are free of rock. Take care, be safe and well.

I wonder if it will cause your driveway to sink in the future as the root system deteriorates?

I saw a video where the guy used a pressure washer to expose the roots, then finished with chainsaw. A little sloppy, but out here, who cares. Ive never heard a chainsaw with that high pitched whine.
