The German stopwatch is something that I have never seen before. Thanks for sharing it. It is a little strange for me. My father was on the SS Léopoldville that was torpedoed by U-boat U-486 80 years ago on Christmas Eve. It is chilling to think of someone timing the lasts seconds of life for almost 1,000 men with a similar watch.
That's amazing that someone has saved such wonderful pieces of history. To bad we have to tiptoe around history though. We are doomed to relive it if we forget it!
So cool !...as the kids say 😆 🤣 I enjoy looking at history, all sides of it. Especially when its history involves one of my very enjoyable hobbies, watches, ..pocket watches to be more precise, and coin collecting is the other hobby. None of us were there (more than likely), so we have no allegiance to stupid symbols, so they shouldn't hurt anyone's feelings. Another interesting video Kalle, thanks for sharing these two pieces with us 👏👏👏 It's freezing 🥶 here in Central Texas, 35°F, we're not accustomed to this mess here. We're freezing our toes off 😅 Have a great day 😀
Thank you Kalle. Very interesting stop watches. It is sad we as the human race are so fragile we can not hear about history and appreciate the design and technology that made the watch possible.

Looking forward to seeing the backs open.

Interessante geschiedenis, wist ik helemaal niet.
Reminds me a bit of telemeter scale on certain watches.
Thank you for the interesting history Kalle!
I ve seen a Svardvis docked in Corfu island in Greece 1995
Now I want to see a Zeppelin - Flieger watch :)

It is forbidden only for 'western' people. Here in Ukraine we have lots of that "how to use" deadly stuff. The war is a horrible thing though
Not a little peek inside of the movement? 😢
Very interesting Kalle thank you 👍😁
Excellent class, absolutely loved it!
👍👍👍
Cool stop-watches, real timepieces. I bet, German one has also radiation
AH covered up the Sawastika Grate Submariners/U Boats
Your pronunciation is very wunderbar! (No sarcasm)
Do both of the timers use the "jitterbug" movement? They are fascinating. I own a couple myself.
Used for timing the torpedos 😂
Enjoy that Irish Guinness
You’re not going to show us the movement?
:)
Can't believe you didn't demonstrate how these work, by sinking a rubber-duck in your bathtub... 😕
Undersea UFO…. 😅. Not a boat, nor a ship…
