Alela- your music has been a true comfort to me and my wife over the last 12 months. We had a beautiful daughter called Margot born on the 2nd of July and she was only with us for 1 day due to sepsis at the labour, It was a living nightmare on what was supposed to be the most happiest day of my life. We played your song Farewell at her funeral. My Mum had a heart attack in April just gone and we played Oh my mama at her funeral. My Wife’s Mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March this year and pass away yesterday, in time to go spend tomorrow with my daughter for her first birthday along with her other granny. This has truly been a tough year for us and your music brings comfort to us at our darkness hour. Thank you. It was a pleasure to see you at Union Chapel in Islington, London the other year x
