@@piledrivevlogs no its 17 actions and you do that every 1.1 seconds or so. again im not even the best player either so people who are nuts can do that shit in like .5 seconds and have 2k+ apms

Saying fortnite is a high IQ game compared to league of legends (I know you didn't compare these but just using league as an example)is just ridiculous and that actions in fortnite need more thought than in other games is an insult to the gaming community. Also professional starcraft players can reach up to 800+ apm.
Thanks a lot for a well articulated comment as opposed to some regular BS you see on the internet. Heres my reasoning: The reason I took a shot at RTS players is because a lot of the APM comes from re-confirming very similar actions. Like in LoL, even though I know each re-confirm of movement is important, because getting the last strike is critical and there is a lot of positioning thought going on. I didn't mean RTS games are low IQ, but I do believe that fortnite is a very high IQ game.
competitive high apm avarage aprox. is like 400-500, in ssbm is even more difficult cuz the buffer is not good and needs to be precise (plus practice neutral game, punish game and techskill), I think fighting games are more demanding at high level.
i just counted apm on my replay of doing a mid tier push which is just simple triple edits and its 780 apm and thats without reset gun swaps jump graple or anything fancy. i could easily get to 1k apm and im not even that "cracked"
