Brand new player here and started on season. This guide was explained clearly however many concepts a new player would not understand. Perhaps an even more basic guide to focus on the essentials first
@@lergus7586 i second what my boy techtoy said, im like brand spanking new and while the guide seemed very well explained i was still confused, for example what are "workers" why do you need them and what do they do. its not something thats explained very well.
BDO encourages having alts, they really make life easier. But if you are one of the people who hate alts, you won't lose anything without them. I've been playing for about 5 years now, I have two alts and they were pumped out for the reason that I couldn't find a class I liked, that's all. Put alts on bosses? The chance of getting something worthwhile is so minuscule that it’s easier for me to farm for 10 hours at the spot and buy it at auction than to farm it from the boss for half a year. In order to farm auras from bosses for the seasonal grade, you only need 3 world bosses, which you can run on yourself, especially since you need handle it just a few times. Energy for workers? Not necessary Play the way you like and don’t turn pleasure and relaxation into a second job. The author described his impressions and how he decided to play for himself, but do not think that you HAVE to play the same way. Everyone is free to play based on their preferences
Tip for the fruit. There's a chance that you will get a basket of harvestables if your worker is harvesting at a farming node. Thank you for the video the horse inventory has been bothering me.
I totally agree that the game can be very overwhelming at first but I hope you can take it slow and enjoy the game at your own pace. That's such an incredible experience having to play with your son. Hope you have fun!
Thank you so much for the guide, maybe it will benefit me to future, I'm still new and don't understand anything beside doing main quest.. Thank you so much !
Knew almost all of this but I did get a couple nice reminders of some stuff to do on season. It's my 2nd full season. Thanks for the video. It was good.
This is somewhat a beginners guide, it's more like a returning player guide . A lot of these aren't useful to a beginner, and will just confuse them, like node investment, worker empire, leveling fairies and pets or how you started talking about adventure logs without explaining what they are and crystal setups . And the colour of the title of a monster doesn't always reflect your gs , sometimes it's about your character level.
I definitely have a lot of room to improve on so I really appreciate your insights. Thank you for the clarification about the color of monster names as well. I did encounter some that weren't doing damage to me but on the other hand I had a hard time landing a hit on them. Level gap definitely makes sense in those scenarios.
5:15 most important thing about those is they use 1 orb if fairy has 1 skill to roll so you wanna make sure it is Cheer V or Steps V before lvling fairy to unlock 2nd skill which will make rolling skills 2 orbs per tap, dont lvl up your T4 fairy without doing those steps before and you are ready to unlock new skill
Good guide sir, very helpful for newbies, good job !👍 btw you should include doing the undying daily for the loot scrolls you can get from it and that grinding tuvala ores for loot scrolls also good way to get them with the seasonal, in some spots you can grind and get up to 3 loot scrolls per hour(from exchanging tuvala ores).
Is there like a list of all logs required purchasable items? Cba going through the logs now, so i'd like to mass preorder everything once they fill in i do all logs one shot
i wish you make a guide on fairy i really like ur videos very helpful to those players like me who f2p and the same time a newbie i learn so much on ur video btw and entertaining thank you
Been playing on NA since 16/3/16... yeah THAT long. Point Number One: Black Desert is NOT a sprint race, but an ultra-marathon. Point Number Two: Do the main quest-line to at least the end of Kamasylvie at least THREE TIMES, nowadays on Seasonal Servers. Have at least one Character complete to end of Eternal Winter and from 24/6/16 Eternal Light Point Number Three: Stay on Seasonal Servers til the character is at least L60 and at least Professional in Gathering, Fishing, cooking, Processing and Training. Point Number Four: Naru gear and then Tuvala gear and Tuvala Accessories should always be enhanced to PEN. Believe me, enhancing that gear is cheaper, faster and better value than what we old timers went through with Grunil Gear and Kalis or whatever weapons. Point Number Five: Do NOT race to get that first horse/donkey. There are three stats that YOU have control over: Breath (affects Stamina), Strength (increases carrying capacity of personal Inventory) and Health (Increases character's Hit points) Get those to 30 minimum. It is easier now with the potions that are given out with Seasonal rewards, but you will still need to feed character, walk around Velia carrying a sack of potatoes and RUN. Point Number Five: Remember how I said have at least one character do all the main quest-line to the Eternals? That gives you knowledge, as does talking to NPCs with question marks over heads. Point Number Five: Start from Velia at least three times and when you actually Hit Velia you'll be around L15 plus. In town, hit 'P' and the "My Information" window will open. Note Family Fame. I started on EU server a month before Spring Seasonal ended. I am currently getting 7.4Mill per day just for logging in. On NA server it is 17.4mill per day... I am slack LOL. That window is a handy reference to see how you are progressing. Remember, within the workings of Black Desert what seems insignificant can sometimes have far reaching consequences. Whoda thought eating could improve your health aka hit points. Why level 60+? well, for boss alts you will go in with a full set of skills, both Awakened and Succession.... and even with PEN Tuvala gear and Accs it is still possible at that level to actually get THE boxes. Benefits of doing all those quests at least three times? Along with knowledge and combat Exp and Skill exp you also get quest rewards. Free costumes that give +2 attack/casting speed (future crystal space), three Black Spirit crystals that when combined become best in slot crystal (175 HP?? plus other bonuses?) are the main ones. Small change I know, but you don't have to pay silver or real money for them. Oh. If new, ALWAYS do a seasonal character. Remember you can use Fuhgar's timepiece to get another character, THAT character will have roughly the same Skill points as the one transferred out And exact LEVEL. Oh and I have 25 characters on NA, the lowest being a Wizard at L49.100% who is my Vell Alt, all the rest at least L60 (Shai just didn't click with me lol) and just two on EU, both of which will be L61 and if Maegu awakening comes out durng the season, hello Fuhgar's Timepiece. Mixing it up is the way to avoid burn-out as the Ultra-Marathon is indeed taxing if you just charge at it like a wounded bull.
