@@skyflow_kreative_imaging I only noticed a major difference on the windiest of days. Other than that, fuel consumption doesn't seem to be significantly affected. I do notice a bit more smokey flavor which goes over well with the family. YMMV
@@johnnymissfire8464 As I stated below, I only noticed improvements in fuel efficiency on windy days. I was getting some pretty descent duration burns with lump charcoal before the mod. I do believe this mod helps but I purchased it primarily for windy days where it made a big difference for me. YMMV.
@@KlotesMods never mind. I just seen this is for the 1050 and 800. I just got my package last Thursday. I ordered a lot of pieces from you. Mine is the 560. I’m Devon Davis. I ordered the drip tray, drip trey holders, ash bucket piece and the vent for the back
this one is for the 1050 & 800 i have one for the 560 as well. Nathan - Will the Rear Vent assembly for the 560 fit the new Masterbuilt Gravity 800? Thinking if the length of the 560 RV assembly covers the entire horizontal opening on the 800, it may work. Just curious. Thanks.

Also I was going to just make my bottom grate myself, however, think I am going to buy yours because I like how its built. Anyways I have a question for you on that one. Does the temp ever stop or go down because the charcoal can't fall down and get stuck right there? Thanks!
nope temp stays as it should the ash falls as it should and does not clog the ash that is left is powder only yet it still lights and burns wood chunks in the ash bin just fine. as far as payment you just need to pm me on FB and then yes i can put a request up that you can pay with credit card though facebook
Klotes could of saved some money if their tool & die engineer would of designed the die set so that the stampings (panel) comes out with the holes in it. instead of using two pieces of steel (sleeves)
thats debatable. the cost to make a die set that your talking about would be thousands of dollars. i bend everything now with dies that i already owned before this so no additional cost. most of the cost of the part is the price of the stainless and either way you do it its not going to save any stainless cost and probably not save that much labor either. if your talking about eliminating one of the slides i could do that now but that takes away the ability to have the opening totally open vs having one of the slides fixed to the main part.

A longer folding shelf mod would be awesome. I lost a whole tray of ribs on that half shelf.

no it wont work at the 800 is just like the 1050 vent just shorter. i will have one for the 800 soon a week or 2
