Watching your videos I wish I could be a Farm Gal! Cole and Brian your relationship is simply wonderful the way you both work together and enjoy each others company is outstanding. So enjoyable to watch. Love the song of the day.Never miss a video.
I don’t know what it is about your videos that I enjoy them so much. It is really interesting to see what your farm work is and how you get it done, and I especially like when Brian has the camera because he explains things so well. Thank you, guys!
Every body waas Kung Foo Fighting for the song of the day wow. you got an oldies channel out there or sat radio cuz i've had Steelers Wheel in my head for two days now.
Hello from Alaska 👋 Cole I hope you know how lucky you are to have a Dad like you got. And Brian you are a lucky man to have a son like Cole. I'm sure all your kids are great. Good Parents. Thanks guys for the great videos. I look forward to seeing them.
Nice camera angle of the cattle jumping out of the Arrowquip chute. Looking forward to following your calving season or as Brian would say - your claving season.
So nice to see a great product stand up to its name, " the calf drinker " is so important.. those calves look so good... Have you thought of trying your flame thrower to melt some of that snow, where you can't get the Bobcat in..that would be fun to watch...😮 As long as nothing got harmed... 😊
I gotta visit that fine eating establishment in Storla :) Amazing the drinker hasn't froze, really. Can't wait for the new little critters to show up. Thanks for the video!
You two work so well together. Wonderful to watch. The Pizza story brings back memories. Grand Dad And Dad would be cutting and giving shots. When we would be done and setting down. Grand dad would take out the same pocket knife he use to cut t bull calves with Wipe it off on his bibs. Then peel an apple. I’m sure it was clean. None of us ever got sick. That was the was it was back then. Oh yes and hogs also.
Hey Brian & Cole! I never miss an episode! I am celebrating a milestone birthday in February, and it would be a huge honor to have you consider naming a calf after me. Your calving season is a highlight of my winter - all those little ones are so cute! Thank you for sharing your life with us. I appreciate all the hard work you do.
I guessed Kirk Douglas as the artist just got the First name wrong was a good song back in the day , takes me back to going ice skating at the ice rink at 17 years old . Always enjoy Brian's song of the day. Great video as always 👍
Yeah, we had to deal with the mites for our cattle too, dipped them too. Good pick for song of the day, I like it and listened to it a lot back when it first came out. Also dealt with a tree limb falling on the fence today, took out about 15 to 20 feet of fence, barbed wire only for us. Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a goodnight and Sunday too.
Very musical there, Mr. Brian. Awesome. That sunshine sure does make it nice to be outside. Great to hear warm weather coming about time them ladies get put back to work for sure. Looking forward to the claving season. Peace to you season.
Another great video Cole. I watch all of them and get thumbs up. For some reason this last video was really clear. I don't know what you did different. Good job
Brian & Cole, u make my day when you post a new video. Hard workers & entertaining, yet informative about raising stock & growing corn & soy beans. Good videos show the love of family & faith.
A cold shot in the morning, yikes! It's not easy being a steer, especially when you have to visit the processing plant. Good one, gas station pizza...yum!
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian. It was interesting. Busy day for you and dad getting ready for calf season to start. You ran those cows thru the chute in good time without any problems. Good show. Suppose you want the cows back out on the corn stocks to eat now that it has warmed up. You have been busy with lots of fix it items after the bitter cold. Brian gave the new waterer a vote of confidence for not freezing up. Good deal. You ran those two hundred head thru the chute real quick to treat for the itch. Good job guys. Ready to go for the calves it looks like. Trust you will have a good season again. Get you 2024 calf name book ready Brian. Thanks for everything Cole. You both take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Hi Cole and Brian, it doesn't take long for calving to come around again, it just seems like yesterday you were blowing hay into the calving sheds. It's good to see the snow melting and that means rolling the seeding machines out soon. The new water trough is living up to it expectations keeping the water from freezing, a good buy. Did i notice that Brian and Uncle Jeff have new red Chev trucks? Cole, you will have to work a bit harder to have your truck updated. I see a lot of cattle farmers around the world have now purchased the Arrowquip cattle handling equipment and they make your dealing with cattle's, especially bulls so much easier and safer. Great content as usual, Chris from Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺.
You own a nice farm, are you breeders or fatteners? How many cows do you own? I see the respect you have for your animals because even in the extreme cold you were still there. What I appreciate most about you is the humor and good humor between father and son.
I’m amazed at the number of cattle they can manage with just the two of them. It’s fun to watch the efficiency of their setup. Good work. I can’t imagine that kind of cold….i get into 20s and I’m out there busting ice in water troughs.
Brian thank you for the water tank review. I think it would be good if you or Cole did reviews and your opinion on what is good or might need to be changed. Coles feed bunk sweep build is interesting, want to see how it works out after he makes his changes. Thank you again for sharing.
Yep, I knew of that song, but I rarely pay attention to the singer's names.----Some fallen trees in my area, branches & limbs, loose palm fronds. No flooding in my area. I haven't been over the river yet, and overflow from the dam has started...60 miles away. It flows through town, fills the underground aquifers (which the farmers tap into) on its way to the ocean, 10 miles from town.---Thanx for your weather updates.
15:52 It's mesmerizing to me to watch that machine shred corn stalks. That new drinker is all that was advertised. BRAVO!! I wasn't kidding, when the weather gets better I am going to patronize Storla Station too. Fine dining there and you don't even have to wear a tie. (Do you??) Just to put in my extra 2 cents .... You ought to name one of your calves "Big Sexy"? Claving music sounds a lot like the beginning of "Low Rider".... just saying.
Hi fellas! Have a question...now grant it that I have been off the farm for over 60 years (up in North Dakota) but I remember our cattle as being brown & white. I noticed that some of yours have white faces along with the black. Are they different breeds or ??. Please don't tell me this is a dumb question🤣😂. Love watching you and the way you pick on each other. You take me back in time & I love it. Those were the best days of my life. It's a shame all kids can't live on a farm for just a short time in their lives.
Cole and Brian, just wanted to pop in here and say I had a delicious dinner tonight of Sonne Farms sirloin steak! It was great! I think you should keep more of the herd and sell them yourself in the future, if it’s not too difficult. As to the snow build up around the chute, don’t you have a flamethrower? Certainly that would melt the snow and would be a lot more fun than shoveling.
I was wondering when calving time would be happening. It’s kitten time here. Similar. I’m so happy for you that the temperature is better for both you and the cattle. The wind shields look exactly like those metal, things we put on our window before hurricane start small world
I remember when that song came out! I was a kid back then and me and my sister would dance "hai karate" style (lmao) to the song to our Dad. LOL I gotta call my sister tomorrow and see if she remembers it.
Love thoses videos Coles and his Dad ,love those big big Smile .

the snow is a pain to deal with, but at least you know you have enough moisture to start your 2024 crops!
You own a nice farm, are you breeders or fatteners? How many cows do you own? I see the respect you have for your animals because even in the extreme cold you were still there. What I appreciate most about you is the humor and good humor between father and son.

Waiting for Claves it gets a little interesting seeing how the momma s react to Cole, tagging there Clave!
Cole check with your friends at Toro to get a snowblower to clean out around the Arrowquip chute then do a giveaway in the spring. Just a thought.
You both take good care of your cows and the farm
thank you

Hugs & Blessings Always 🙏❤️💙💖💙🐕...💙🤗✝️
That Vermeer "bale disassembler" is pretty neat..
I think my kids use one of those for their laundry. It makes a nice even layer of clothes on the floor of their rooms.

Yesterday was it was 70 degrees and sunny in Illinois i am a farmer here in Illinois
Maybe a small snow blower for those hard to reach places! Pizza looked tasty.

Sounded like Brian was tapping out the tune Low Rider 😂
Classic song, had the on a 45, old school disc.
