Poppy and Branch discover that there are six different troll tribes scattered over six different lands. Each tribe is also devoted to six different kinds of music -- funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. When rockers Queen Barb and King Thrash set out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save the diverse melodies from becoming extinct.

Fun fact: Barb’s dad was actually voiced by the legend Ozzy Osborne, and the girl who voiced barb said in a bts video that she was actually really nervous to cover his song bc Ozzy was in the room while she recorded it.

This movie really said "history is written by the winners" in a way that kids would be able to understand. It tackled culture and appropriation in a way that is relatable for kids to understand. Love this movie.

I forgot to say; Am i the only one who hate Poppy's attitude? Not only she ignore Branch's advices and didn't listen to him BUT the troll also didn't send a letter to Bridget; her best friend, about the trip. Not a short visit to say '' Hey i just found there's others trolls and wants to meet them! '' That was so cruel ☹Poppy also never appologise, either she don't care about her friend's feelings or didn't realise her mistakes.
This is a pretty big sequel in my opinion. I like how this movie expresses the other genres of music, aside from just Pop. Did you know Kenan Thompson plays Tiny Diamond? And that’s only one of the extra celebrities they have in this movie.
I also love how throughout the movie, you see glimpses of the younger baby trolls starting to enjoy the other music, only for the older trolls to try to stop them. Like how the country kids seemed a bit into the pop, and how Tiny Diamond was like "Daddy, I'm a rock star!".
This is definitely better than the first one. The concept of the film is brilliant, the humor is more effective, the heart of the film is in the right place, its musical numbers are filled with lots of energy, and the animation is still very colorful, creative, and beautiful to look at.
DreamWorks really knows how to make sequels better than their predecessors.
I love the acknowledgements of the different genres. I took a liking to the ones I weren't too fond of back then
definitely liked this one way more than the first, the bigger focus on the actual music was a great choice and the story overall was fun!
Fun fact: Who Let the Dogs Out? was originally written for the movie Rugrats in Paris.
Actually it wasn’t written for the movie specifically , the song was already out months before on July 26, 2000 and was a huge hit as was.
Rugrats In Paris released on November 17, 2000 and the film just decided to feature the song which did make it even more popular.

Queen Essence is voived by the queen of Soul.
Barbs dad is voiced by Ozzy Osbourne.
The reggaeton troll is voiced by the prince of reggaeton.
The casting was just 100% beautiful.
When the music in Trolls World Tour hits, they hit hard! Such a great sequel to the first film!

I enjoy this movie it is a bummer that it couldn’t premiere in theaters due to Covid and I love listening to the other music types the classical music reminds me of my my time playing the clarinet for my middle school band class (I don’t play anymore because of the environment of the class) and I was rooting for Branch to tell Poppy how he feels about her and true harmony coming from different voices is a great lesson to learn I am excited to see Band Together I hope to see it in theaters with my younger sisters ❤
I noticed that in the beginning. None of the leaders wanted to reunite. But even though poppy was doing it for selfish reasons. She was right in the end they should be United.
Should be united, but also embrace what makes us different as well.

They made 2 trolls shows. The 2nd show Has different trolls from the different tribes living in pop village to show how they can all learn from one another
After learning branches past it makes sense how he was able to keep up with the kpop/reggae group
This film reminded me how much I love funky music. The drums, the bass, everything.
Yeah I did like this better than the first (the song “Just Sing” is my favorite song out of the two films). And Rachel Bloom was fantastic to hear as Barb. I loved her in this and also her performance as Autumn Blaze in the MLP episode “Sounds of Silence”.
It’s unfortunate though it didn’t get a strong box office showing due to releasing as COVID-19 was starting and everything was shut down (why didn’t they just delay it like others?).
Here’s hoping Band Together makes up for it, my guess is why they were able to get a third film.
I love the detail of the Pop Troll's string being on the original harp, directly contradicting the story we're seeing.

I prefer the second movie to the first one. I loved the new trolls that were introduced, Techno especially. I love King Trollex and feel kinda sad that he only got lines in the beginning and at the end of the movie. Also really liked the story and messages in World Tour. I can’t wait to go see the new movie coming out Friday. Enjoyed your reaction and was looking forward to it!

Personally, I love this movie even more then the original. I'm the sort who enjoys all different types of genres. But I have always been a country music girl at the root as well as a lover of techno, so the hate you often seen country or techno get never felt right to me. This movie is what I've always believed. Enjoy that we have a variety of genres of music, that inspire different emotions and suit different tastes. Variety is the spice of life after all. You don't have to love every genre, but at least respect that others out there do.
Some small bits I appreciated in the movie. How the original harp was with the pop trolls, hinting to the real version of what happened to split the troll nations. And how the children throughout the movie seem to get into the other music, only for the adults to try to stop them. (Country kid enjoying the pop, Tiny Diamond calling himself a rock star...) Kinda shows how not all biases are born...but taught.
I can’t wait for the third one to come ❤ half you watched the sequel

29:35 really you questioning an Elvis outfit? The KING of Rock and Roll?! Most forget rock came out before the 80s. Dont get me wrong absolutely love Ozzy and the classic rock singers, but gotta show some respect to the OGs.
Branch liking all the music genres was so clever. One JT has song with a variety of singers and genre- he did a duet with Chris Stapleton and beautiful music was created. But also shows how you can like more than one genre.
If there was a new kind of music in the Trolls world and if I could be part of it I'd see myself as a R&B Troll named Cantrelle because it's my favorite genre of music but Pop music? Close second 😄💕🎶

My guess it’s getting a theatrical exclusive release due to World Tour not getting a big release due to coming out when Covid was starting and getting bad.

....cuz last month my dad's twin brother came to my house and my dad NEVER told me he had a twin brother!
I am also a twin (my twin is my sister) as well and finding out that my favorite character Cooper that has a twin I was so happy because I have something in common with Cooper.

You know what would be really cool? A troll hybrid. Based on the music I like, I would be a techno troll. But based on my personality, probably a country or rock troll.

I love the trolls movies
Its confusing for the trolls we know to be pop trolls because in the first movie they were singing songs other than pop.
And even in this movie they sing gangnam style which is technically K Pop which makes the K Pop trolls more confusing
Considering this film is about cultural appropriation, it makes sense that the Pop Tribe has songs from other cultures. Because of the colonizing and stealing their ancestors did, it makes sense if they have a bit of other cultures in their tribe.
The same way Mexican culture has a bit of Spainared, Germany and Japanese culture because of our history.

Personally, I didn't like this film, I don't know of it's because I'm a teen or just because I'm lame. But if you like it, I respect it 100%
I didn't really care for the sequel to trolls, there were a few great moments though. However I did really love the trolls 3 movie so can't wait to see your reaction to that when it's out
