I would like to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU🥰 to everyone who has watched this video, subscribed and commented. You are very much appreciated and this video has gone crazy.
What a beautiful creation this is!! I’ve been watching resin videos on TH-cam for the past 2 years… and I have no idea how I have never found you??? What is wrong with TH-cam?? Why has this never come up in my feed?? You have a new subscriber… and a new admirer!! This piece is outstanding… so very creative!! Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia). ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Hello Nat and welcome to my channel. Thank you so much for subscribing and saying such nice things🥰 This project was a really fun thing to do and it worked out so well. One of my favourite projects so far! I am so glad to have you here and hope you continue to enjoy my content.
Thank you so much Cheryl. I had this mould sitting around for ages just begging me to use it in a project. I had already done the Koi fish tray. I was looking about on Amazon for inspiration and came across the Koi stickers. These are different from the ones I used in my tray. This was a bit of a challenge as it was a small space to work in and I did not know if the perspective of the fish/plants on their separate levels would work. Amazingly, it all came together and it is one of my favourite pieces!
Thank you! And welcome to my channel. This was a fun mould to make and it took a whole load of resin, which really surprised me. Thank you so much for subscribing, it is whole heartedly appreciated🥰
Yes, sometimes you have to accept, it is, what it is. I really did not mind the bubbles in this because I thought it would fit in nicely with the theme. Thank you so much for watching and commenting🥰
This is absolutely beautiful! It would be such a lovely centerpiece on a table in a nice sunny room, and yes, the bubbles just add to the look of water! Beautiful
Hello Sharauni! Thanks for your kind comments. And, yes, it would look very nice in a sunny room because the clear resin on top of the blue, really makes it look like water.
I’m so in love with the way this turned out. I planted a small cactus in my “hands resin piece”and added some very small stones. I have watched your channel/video for the first time and admire your PPE gear! I’m in Australia so wearing the suit all the time is not possible we have 80% humidity and 36C Celsius. I use every other PPE. Really enjoyable video, thank you so much for sharing it.🇦🇺😊 definitely subscribing!
Thank you Saskia! Welcome to my channel. Yes, my PPE gear turns me into a hazmat warrior. I have to gear up like this because I am very allergic to the resin and have had a few unpleasant experiences with it. I decided that I would not stop doing what I love, and found a way around it🤣 Wearing the same PPE for you would turn it into your own personal sauna. The space that I work in is temperature controlled. It is in my basement so it stays cool in the summer and very cold in the winter, so I heat it!
I am so glad the algorithm brought up your channel. Such beautiful work! I loved the presentation and how you guided us to through the whole process. Loved it
Hello Mary! And Welcome. I am so glad the algorithm brought you to my channel. This project was an experiment and I was determined to see it through whether it succeeded or failed. It took several days to make as I had to wait for each layer to cure. I had tons of fun making this and, happily, it turned out to be one of my favourite projects. I started my TH-cam journey about a year ago now (April of 2023), and everyone has been so kind and supportive. Thank you for joining us🥰
This video is how I discovered your amazing channel. I love reason and follow a number of channels but yours has become my favourite - your creativity / skill / originality and personality are just addictive. I am making my way through your videos at a rate of knots and gathering more inspiration and ideas than I have from any other channel. Also love the special effects - Beautifully done - and especially love the humour!!!!! Loving it!!!!! Carla - New Zealand
Hello carla! Welcome to my channel. Thank you so much for your kind comments and I am glad that you are enjoying the videos and being inspired. Your words are part of the reason why I do this. I love to share ideas, tips and tricks with people in the hope that it will inspire them to create their own masterpieces. My husband is the person responsible for all the lovely graphics and special effects! He has way too much fun editing my content😂
Thanks. And it is so nice to have someone to take care of the editing etc. I don't think I would have the time to do the editing as well. Plus, I don't know how to edit😂@@carlamactier1565
Hello James and thank you for subscribing to my channel! This was a very fun project to make and I was not sure if the fish would appear 3D as I did not layer them as they are supposed to be done. This is one of my favourite projects! Thanks for watching🥰
Thank you so much! This was such a lot of fun to make and I was very impressed with the 3D fish, even though I did not make them as they are supposed to be made. This was a very successful project and I love it too
Hello There and thank you for subscribing! This project is one of my favourites and the stickers really set it off nicely. Have fun with this it's a great way to use this mould!
Hello Debbie! This video is really taking off and I am so pleased with the response. This project turned out better than I hoped and the perspective in it is exactly what I wanted.
Thanks Tracey I appreciate that. This was a bit of an experiment as I did not apply the stickers as they were meant to be done. But, it worked out very nicely and it is one of my favourite projects.
Hello Jacci! Thank you so much for watching and your kind comments. I think it would look good with some lights under it. Maybe, if I make another one, I will do just that.
Hello! This was a bit of an experiment because I did not use the stickers the way they were supposed to be used but, they worked out okay and I love this project. I am always so pleased when I have inspired someone with an idea. This is partly why I do this. THANK YOU🥰
Hello Trish, and welcome to my channel! Yes, this is one of my favourite projects and it worked out better than I hoped. The stickers can be a bit tricky to get in exactly the right place so, take your time it can be frustrating. Luckily, all the swearing and cursing was edited out of the video🤣 I would very much appreciate a mention on your channel when you make this. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING🥰
That was a wonderful idea and turned out beautifully. It must be a fishy week. I tried painting koi fish with my watercolours this week and they certainly didn’t look as beautiful as yours. I paint a lot of flowers and birds mainly. I’ve come to the conclusion that fish aren’t my thing. You’ve done a great job. 🐠🐟🐠
Hello Judith! Thanks for your nice comments. Well, I did not create the stickers and I most certainly could not paint them with water colours! Don't have the painting talent. My dad was quite a good artist and I remember, as a kid, sitting beside him with my easel painting away. It was fun.
Wow!!!! This is beautiful 🎉, like a lot of comments say I am now suscribed and waiting for my hand mold to arrive 😅. Thank you for the inspiration❤ and looking forward to watching your other videos.
Hello Mary and thank you so much for watching and your kind comments. This worked out a lot better than I thought it would and I do love to take on a challenge and try to make something special. It really makes my day when someone says I have inspired them. That is part of the reason why I make my videos. This is one of my absolute favourite projects. Have fun with your project.
You are just wonderful and your ideas are fascinating I love what you did with the hands how awesome I love watching you perform God bless you keep on using that great mind of your's you are so blessed with giving us directions and sharing your secrets thanks ❤❗‼️
Thank you for that! Every now and then, an idea really comes together and I love the way this turned out. I love making things with resin and I am more than happy to help other resin crafters with tips and hints. Glad you liked it!
I've had this hand mold for a year and haven't used it. I paint fish in resin and never thought to use this mold for that 🤦🏼♀️ Thank you for inspiring me and helping revive my creative side! ❤
Hello fuzznickers! Thank you very much for saying that this project inspired you in getting your creative side up and running! That sort of comment makes this all worth while. Part of the reason for doing my channel is to help people with ideas and inspire their creativity. THANK YOU🥰
@poffcreations I have only seen a couple of your videos because I stumbled across you recently. I love how you are sharing all your tips and techniques in a very easy to learn with voice. I can't wait to start the hands this weekend....IF I have enough epoxy left! I know I have some coming February 8th 😣
This is a greedy mould for resin. I was really surprised at how much it needed. This mould is really nice and full of details and was pretty much the size of my hands!@@fuzznickers
Your 'Coy Pond Giving/Receiving Hands,' are Amazing! I had thought about doing something just like that with my hand mold as well. I even bought the Coy Fish and pond foliage but haven't been well enough to make it. I'm so happy you did and I can learn from your beautiful example.😍 I also Subscribed to your channel because you have such a kind voice and video presence.😇
Hello cheaquetta and welcome to my channel. I am sorry to hear that you are not well enough to do any crafting. Just lately, I have had a few health issues and it is very frustrating to feel so ill you can't do anything. Hope you feel better soon and can have a go at your own "Hands of Life". Thanks for subscribing and for your kind comments🥰
Hello persephone and welcome to my channel! Thanks for letting me know that there are fresh water beaches, I did not know that! I think I can allow myself a little artistic wiggle room by putting sand in with my Koi! Thank you for watching🥰
@poffcreations of course anything to help plus it's your art you are free to make it look how ever you imagine even if it isn't something completely realistic if we made all art exactly the way things are in real life, we would never have fantasy artworks. You make it how you see it in your mind your work is beautiful never give up. 💜💚💜💚
@@persephonekraker2399Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Yes, everybody 'sees' art differently and we are all creative in our own ways. I try to make interesting projects and sometimes that falls over into the world of fantasy but I really love my Koi piece and it was so much fun to make! I am glad that I was not too far off the 'mark' by putting sand in my project. 🥰
Hello and welcome to my channel! I was going to leave the hands to cure for 48 hours but I checked it after 24 and it was cured, even though I did not use "deep pour" resin, it worked very well. Each layer was left for 24 hours. You maybe don't have to leave it for that long but I do other things and so it is usually 24 hours before I return. I do not use a heat mat but the space I work in is kept very warm so this helps with the curing process.
I would like to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU🥰 to everyone who has watched this video, subscribed and commented. You are very much appreciated and this video has gone crazy.
