Nice collection..yes definitely the Cartier love collection is pretty overpriced. Don’t know where you stay but at the Mall you can look for a Piercing Pagoda stall . They sell solid gold in 10 & 14KT in different pieces. They also have sales time to time for buy 1 get 1 half price. I have bought solid gold off eBay & Etsy before but one has to be very careful. Also maybe if you like signet style rings you could get one with Black Onyx ..it’s a classic style . If you are in NY there is a gold store called Top Store I think they do custom orders too. Some jewelry stores in the “ local hood or malls “ have real gold Cartier dupes for far less but it depends on what you like .

Etsy is the best place for gold jewelry. They have cute & modern designs. I disagree though that gold filled pieces are better options because in the long run you won’t be able to sell them or pawn. Solid gold items are better investments. Gold keeps it’s value overtime. You add $50 or more for the price of a gold filled piece and you can definitely get an inexpensive solid gold piece. You just need to look because Etsy has tons of great sellers.

if I could correct my comment, I would. gold filled really doesn't hold up that well. it definitely lasts longer than gold plated, but for the price, i agree, i'd rather just pay more for solid gold.
