Yo, you have no idea how magical this song is for me. I just got myself out of a bad spot tonight with this song. I stopped sitting down feeling bad about myself, shaved, and got some work done. My mom texted me back with her support, I got a chance to make some money doing what I love, and I got an important email composed during this songs run time. I don't know what happened, but this song is awesome. Thanks Arcade Fire.
This song feels like watching a sunrise from the top of a mountain. Just beautiful...
How many spot-on anthems can this incredible band write. Please....please....never sell out...to commercial interests, meaning use your songs to make you and a corporate interest money.
This song is a social critique. What's up with the comments saying wanting Everything Now is a good thing? It's an amazing song. Its music is cheerful, its lyrics condemning. The mix of both makes one feel empty and full at the same time. We are guilty of the Everything Now attitude but the upside is we all know it. "Stop pretending you've got Everything Now".
This just make me feel... human again. Thank you, Arcade Fire ♥
I remember during the pandemic I was feeling pretty down and I had to stay a lot of time alone in my room. I'd then put on my radio a CD that my mum made w songs she liked. Some of the songs there like this one or reflektor really helped me go through the lonely and monotone days :)
wish this song had a better chorus.
Gives off jojo vibes
This song is everything now.
Does this not sound like a David Bowie song?!
Arcade fire you are the best i love EVERYTHING NOW
This is a heart wrentcher. Love to all ya'll
Every inch of sky's got a star
Six years…..
The song along w/lyrics seems to deliver a more ambiguous style signal despite the happy style rhthym. Interesting combination. It could easily be interpreted in a few different ways.
I can't get it out of my head and I'm so thankful
This reminds me of If I Can't Have You from Saturday Night Fever
I like the way the music video was remixed with the intro, this is great such an uplifting moment this song can bring.
We played this on our NPR station when it first came out. Was blown away how good this album was.
It has a very 70s like poppy disco sound. You can tell Bangalter produced it.
