I loved this song as the original, but this version.... GOD DAMN! I don't know how to explain it, but the new vibe, and vocals, and sounds. It just sounds so good, like water washing over a stone. It helps us see Dabi's true self and backstory.

This version it sounds like Fabvl is speaking from his heart, releasing years of pain and anger through this music. But Fabvl has always sounded like that to me. I listen to Fabvl when I need a non violent outlet for my anger.
This reimagined version really helped marry the verses and the incredible chorus from before. Cross my Heart was my favorite Fabvl song, only fitting this one replaces it.
