Paul Maurice, Pregame: Stanley Cup Final, Game 1 - Edmonton Oilers at Florida Panthers

Florida Panthers coach Paul Maurice speaks before his team plays host to the 2024 Stanley Cup Final in Sunrise on Saturday, June 8.
The Panthers will play in the Stanley Cup Final for a second straight year; Edmonton is vying for its sixth title and first since 1990. This is the Oilers’ first trip to the Final since 2006.
Game 1 is Saturday in Sunrise at 8 p.m. (ABC).

Florida took out the New York Rangers in 6; Edmonton did the same to Dallas.
On Saturday, the Panthers beat the Rangers 2-1.
Florida took a 2-0 lead on goals from Sam Bennett and Vladimir Tarasenko.
Artemi Panarin beat old friend Sergei Bobrovsky (23 saves) to make it a 1-goal lead but the Panthers hung on.

I could listen to Paul Maurice read the phone book. A classy and elegant man, he takes every question, no matter how dumb and gives a thoughtful and well spoken reply. I never realized how firey on the bench he is until I saw the recent mic'ed up video on youtube during the Rangers series.

Mumford the "Secret Weapon" who brings the cases of Rainbow Tape on Road Trips for Mcdavid told all the Oilers Coaches and Players that Fortune does not favor the Bald...and Paul Maurice is already just a washed up wanna-be who will never find his Inner Excellence because hes just not that good a Coach and Paul Coffey said "There can only be One" Paul just before he plugged his Stanley Cup Rings into his ears. Skinner was telling jokes in the Dressing room about Bennett not being able to do 10 Pull-Ups before hes actually an Old Man and is wearing Pull-Ups.
