it really depends on when, where, and how you watched db kai. with funimation's releases, they use the yamamoto score from the beginning up until around the later parts of the freeza arc [season set 2] (iirc they made the switch the episode directly after gokū went ssj), afterwards is the kikuchi score. (this doesn't apply to kai tfc, since it has sumimoto like dbs)
