Waylon is the real deal. All around great guy on stage and off. Drove from NY to Tennessee to see him work a show for some smaller bands. I drank some shit that I shouldn’t have. My dead beat husband left me on the side of the road. Waylon picked me up and brought me to my hotel and made sure I got in safe. I’ll never forget it. Divorced now! 😂

Waylon truly is a good man as a friend of his I can tell you, he has struggled with his own demons that the music industry does get us tangled up in but he no longer struggles with them even then he still had a heart of gold.

Yeah I can hear a bit of Maynard James in his vocals, I think he's a fan of Tool too, I remember seeing a picture of him wearing a shirt of Tool, there were some songs on Savior Sorrow, Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children and The Righteous And The Butterfly where he sounded similar to Maynard James's vocals on songs like simple survival, just pretending, do I know you and for your pleasure or the songs that I heard him sound reminiscent of Maynard James.
Sounds kind of terrible but it's probably the audio recording. These guys are Legend, and nothing but love

Oh how I wish for them to come back to Mushroomhead. New crew is amazing and did perfect album lately, but with these two, Mushroomhead would be the best band ever (and I say it as someone who doesn't listen to a lot of nu metal, but they are exceptional)
They would have NEVER left if it wasn't for mini HITLER running the band and handing out scraps to his "brothers". Corruption and greed are why Jeff and others walked away.
If they would tour with slipknot
They tried to make it happen when the were in Mushroomhead and Corey even brought it up, but at this point it would feel hollow without the original crew together. Corey and Jeffrey Hatrix singing together would have been pretty awesome.

@@anthonynelson8730 a lot, but basically Skinny, the drummer, is the owner of the band and he's grown into a bigger and bigger asshole over the years. He decides the live playlist, he decides how much each member got paid and it wasn't even. He installed a punch time clock in the studio to track members work hours. Little factions between group members formed and a bunch of in fighting started. Jeff said one time they flew home and the airline lost Churchs guitars(their most talented guitarist in my opinion). Jeff said to their current bassist that was unfortunate and the bassist replied 'Who gives a shit, he'll be out of the band next week.'
Apparently they dumped Hatrix because they said he couldn't sing anymore. So lots of crap culminating over the years.

You are judging his vocals on a live video recorded with a cell phone??? Clearly you know NOTHING about sound. I was at Hatrixfest, this song, right up there in the front. Jeff sounded great, it's this recording and where whoever took it is standing. Go to a show and see him. It was bad ass.
How many MRH shows have you been to in the past few years? I went the shows they had in California and Jeff didn’t sound as good as he did in the past.

Sometimes I wish Waylon was still a part of Mushroomhead. But the dispute he made online clearly states that he is against the band and does not care to return. Something about legal rights and the rights to the record label. Oh well...what Waylon Reavis brought to Mushroomhead was electrifying.

John Samardak Backed by Shmotz? What are you talking about? Shmotz has been neutral in all of this and still occasionally talks to the band.
I think he's firmly against Skinny, who apparently has a massive strangle hold on the band. He controls the royalties each member gets, pay checks, the set list, the act, when a new album get's made, all of it. Several members who have left or been kicked have stated very similar things, but I think around 2015 things got much worse. Sucks, because The Righteous and the Butterfly was probably their best album.

Ross Boss Seeing as the band got Matt Wallace who worked on XIII to work the new album. I think the band has potential to reach that peak again. I honestly wish fans would stop picking sides and just enjoy the music despite the conflict.

Dare I say this but you don't know Mushroomhead or you're not a true fan of them if you can't appreciate their later work and same thing goes to Black Sabbath fans, I hate when I see some "fans" of Mushroomhead praise the '90s and early 2000s stuff but hate on everything after that, they are no Mushroomhead fan to me, those fans always say Superbuick, M3 and XIII is there best, I mean yeah those albums do kick ass and I love them but I have to disagree I think Savior Sorrow, Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children and A Wonderful Life are Mushroomhead's best work, those types of fans forget Mushroomhead doesn't repeat themselves, I mean do you really want to hear Superbuick, M3 or XIII part 13, I think that would get born and redundant pretty quick and that's what I love about Mushroomhead is that every album is different.

There was a reason for that. They had several members and a small stage for many years in Cleveland. And JMann was a wild beast so he adapted a strange stance in the back with a head shake and stepped forward when he sang. It is genius imo.

Nothing always manages to look bored on stage. He tries to have this imposing demeanor and it just... doesn’t work.
