That's not shaping a blank, it's scrubbing ridges off of a CNC preshape. Get your planer out and show us how to really shape a board. Grandma could do that.
nice finishing there lad pride in your work nice to see. I shaped 40 boards by hand before I went on to a power planer. Unfortunately I now live where there are no waves and I don't want to buy a car in Britain there are too many on the road here already. Im setting up to ride with my dog and my board on his doggie hut trailer and cycle the 40 miles across the river Dart to the nearest wave sleep ZZZ surf then return and hope we are not followed by the globalist pathetic stazzi
Stop hating. It's all shaping. Not every shaper knows how to use the 3D software. You still have to shape it down to the final shape. Lots of room to alter the board. 10 years of hand shaping in my belt + 15 designing boards on the computer down to .001". Welcome to the future. Go replicate boards to the T with your planer if you like. Go start a career and have to work with pros who want the same board every time with the little improvements they asked for that only the computer can keep track of. Knowing exact liters. Again, only on the computer.
Perfect job really. Congratulations!
i like your taste in backing music... amazing
Fantástico! !!
pretty amazing what machines can do these days.
Leftys rock, nice work man.
great!!!
dude when are you coming to big island? i would love to learn how to make surfboards!!!!!!
I'm using shape 3D to design the boards. We are using the latest APS 3000 CNC shaping machine.
yHuh! Oh yeah! We all have those machines in the garage.
It's for a dark contrast. It can be any color actually, but royal blue is a favorite.
Super!
great video. nothing like hand shaping from start to finish though.
is this shaping or cleaning?

Nice video. What brand of CNC cutting machine do you use? I am trying to buy one soon. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
This blank is polyurethane. But sometimes we do eps @ 2lb density.
Is that 4 Bob Marleys on the wall?

What is the material whil you are using for board? Is it styrofoam? Whats the density of it? where do you buy it?
why are all shaping rooms blue
Robbie Naughton to see possibles imperfections
Mine is purple and I don't need a computer to make a board.
Yes, that's a Bob Marley stencil.
