    Your tang was fine, he wasn’t that big for a move yet, he looked happy with the clowns. Just ignore the sheep’s who say you can’t have him. Your point in the beginning goes for any kind of fish. They don’t bring that to the chat.

    "Could it be this easy?!?" I was on the edge of my seat as all the action took place off-camera....kept expecting the little guy to make a leap for it and onto the floor. But I guess he really was asleep. Nice work! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Great catch. I noticed that your Smart ATO was on and the water level was below your optical sensor. It was not filling your return pump section. I have the same ATO and it was doing that also when it would eventually turn on it would fill the tank till the ATO reservoir was empty. It happened 3 times it over filled my tank I use Kalk so I had two problems an over filled tank and over dosed with Kalk. The distributor coral view exchanged it but they gave me the runaround for 3 weeks.

    You can actually put a fish that will grow too big for your tank for example a let's say 38 gallon but when it gets to big for the tank you can sell it or return it back to a fish store:)

    Hi there buddy. I have a 12 gal tank. 3 days ago I was at a LFS and bought a small blue tang (1 1/2 inch). Now doing the research I realized that it was a big mistake. Tangs demand bigger tanks. I would like to know how fast do they grow?? How long could I keep it in my tank?? At this point, what can I do after my colossal mistake?? Thank you for your support.

  • @daanvandongen1422

    i don't like 'upgrade plans' because you don't know what the future will look like and therefor there is no way of knowing wether you can house it as an adult so either buy the tank the adult fish will need or have someone you know will absolutely take it from you in a couple years time.

    • @InappropriateReefer
      @InappropriateReefer  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      How about LFS that would take free fish, that could be an option as well. Can’t imagine them saying no to a well kept and conditioned tang!

      chris kitedude So is it more moral to put other fish in a box but a blue tang is off limits. The truth of the matter is this is said about tons of animals and tends to dissapear as soon as breeding becomes common. Not to mention you commented this on a super healthy and happy tang!
