  • On the level "This is not the end' there are some cleverly hidden zombies who are difficult to wake up - that's what this guide is for!

    1:02 There is a good way to do that. Spit.
    Side note: I figured out a different way to make her move from nest 2 to nest 3 to nest 4. What you do is you do the triggers to make her move 'in the wrong order'. So what you do is you take the zombie you woke up with spit at 0:30. Before he falls down to the ground, you can spit the zombie next to the overlord barrel. Then with your starting zombies close the hatch to get the sniper to position 2. Then you have that zombie spit to lower the bridge. That will get the sniper to go to nest 3. Then you collapse the platform holding up the blocks (only tested that with spit), and that will send her to nest 4. I don't see this as being particularly helpful unless you are doing a 'minimum zombies lost' challenge run or something. CRITICAL: You MUST wait until she is comfy in her sniper nest before triggering her to move to the next nest.
    Side side note: If you are doing a minimum zombies lost challenge run, you need to know that you can keep a zombie from moving by starting to tell a zombie to spit and then unpausing the game. Obviously you can only do this with one zombie at a time.

    Once I somehow killed the sniper even before she could get in the part with the 'explode-block' and there's also a glitch where the sniper just stops dropping bombs in the boss fight. You still win even if she stops though.

    1:02 you can sacrifice few zombies to run on mines and thats work as well -- she run away in the end.

    Blowing an overlord over there might seem cheaper compared to screaming but it's not. Turning a normal zombie into overlord costs one dna, blowing the overlord up costs 6 dna. You lose that zombie and have only the woken up one. It ends up costing 7 dna. Scream costs 8 dna. You keep the screaming zombie and get a newly woken up one so you have 2 zombies. You can sacrifice one of them to regain 3 dna and still have the other. The end cost would be 5 dna. Just saying.

    Zombie on roof seems to have been moved to a lower ledge in a later patch

      Yup - now you don't have to go through all the hassle of getting a crawler up there to scream, so the whole thing is a lot easier!

    Oooff, I don't know whether the game received improvements after you played it but you know, with the crawlers - simply playing back at regular speed and using Tab for selecting characters would've really helped your accuracy with those crawlers.
    Also... you can just scream the guy at the top awake AFTER the fight too...

      The game did receive improvements after I played it, but I was also really, really bad at this level. The reason I was so careful about the screaming is that in this version of the game (don't know if it still does this) once every enemy on a 'kill everything' level is dead, the level auto-ends. So it actually was possible to miss waking up the zombie.

    Dude, it's quite clear in the last part you are supposed to create multiple crawlers and climb more than one at a time:) But thanks for these videos. Level design are way too boring for you to keep repeating the levels till you get the "right way". Last tip, when you know a zombie is going to die, burn it for DNA. Of course it's not necessary. Game is not about resources management. It's like those labyrinth where you have to find the "right way" the designer designed.
