The only art supply Ive bought from a dollar store and liked are a big pack of gel pens. They have a lot of ink and they're the best I've ever had lol. But like some of them don't work, and by that I mean the ink doesn't come out. And the ones that actually work, a Lot of ink comes out at once and it either ruins the line art or just wastes a lot of ink ; ; but they're still the best gel pens I own. What other gel pens do you guys recommend? 🖋🖊🖋🖊
If you like glitter, then Amazapens (available on Amazon and their own website) are really good. They flow nicely and have a great range of colours (I have a set of 40 which all have this lovely super fine glitter in). My first set arrived with a few pens not as well filled up as others so I took a photo and sent them a message and they sent me another set as a replacement and told me to keep the first lot to make up for it. The second pack were all filled to the same amount. So customer service is good too! Other than that, just check out Amazon in general. There are lots of brands which are basically the same pens (manufactured in the same factory but you can have your own company label added when you buy them wholesale) which you'll start to notice after a while, so just look for ones with high reviews and a good price. I'd stay clear of sets which feature the mixed colours in one pen though as those just turn out muddy (even expensive brands) and reviews seem to be poorer for those kinds of sets. It's also useful to know that some places sell refills so you don't have to waste plastic throwing away the outer pen. Some sets come with refills included which is ideal if you've found a pack you like. ☺

I glad to see Edward is back in the background. LOL I have found Staedtler colouring crayons in Wopex, regular Tri plus, and the hexagonal shaped ones. I also discovered Paper Mate at the Dollorama. If you are a Canadian you can probably find one near you. I have not looked in the Dollar Tree but now I might just do that. LOL Also often I find Artist Loft brushes there. Pretty cool stuff.

Um I’m a lefty, I’d say that it’s nothing to do with what hand you use, just practice, develop your own drawing style and you will eventually get good! It took me a couple of years to actually get good and like my drawing!

Um I have one tip that if your trying to blend two colours use a more watery consistency (NOT TOO MUCH WATER) and it’s easier.

Um I’m a lefty, I’d say that it’s nothing to do with what hand you use, just practice, develop your own drawing style and you will eventually get good! It took me a couple of years to actually get good and like my drawing!

Lol it just takes practice. Maybe it’s because by using their left hands, they use the right halves of their brains more...? Idk, but I’m right handed and I think I draw ok. Plus one of my friends are left handed, and she can’t draw to save her life XD
