I skipped over most of the video since I didnt really know what secret i was watching.
lets say you send 1 all ranged attack, (rose, snow, goblin, tracker, archer)
rose will not fight so you lose out on the squad attack damage but you still get the 20% army attack.
There really isnt some massive secret just basic stuff for attacking, also brando you need to send 4 troops of the army heroes type to get army bonus - so if you send rose and bomin for full inf you send 4 cav and 4 ranged to get the army attack bonus

Its basic stuff that has been tested and used time and time again by many youtubers like SneakyTashi, its not a bug its mechanics

Dude! You'll lose the Tactic Skills, but not Logistics. You'll still get the Logistic Skills(20% Attack) of Rose Knight even you dont send a single Cavalry.
If the hero you send gives army attack hp defence boosts it doesn’t matter if you don’t send that troop type, you still get the boost.
The amount of times u missed pronounced cavalry made me skip this video. Did my head in. "Calvry" lmao

I think whatever type the hero is for example cavs, will only move with cav troops. So basically the will only advance if one of their type of troop is in the battle
Rose also has an army boost which will affect the ranged troops.
I already knew this, tho. Just by playing and learning the game most folks learn this over time. It's great to know for noob players or those that don't pay much attention to the strategic side of the game.

You can't take the graphical battle video as an indicator of how the Combat functions and what your features and skills are doing! You're taking the movements shown as entertainment and assuming to that is a full value depiction of what is and isn't being done. Plus, the only the first x4 heroes of a troop type supported will have their Battle Skills invoked. The Battle Skills of a Hero that is a 5th hero of the same troop support type will not have its Skills added to the Combat calculations and wastes a potential bonus opportunity.
Bro your half right yes the does not move but you get that hero's stats. Like if you send four bowman hero's with knight you get her atk boost stats but she steps back and let the range take control

Ill just post this here for people wanting to understand this easier - I will be using a full ranged attack as an example
So for a full ranged attack - talents and gear is basic stuff you dont need to go in depth for.
Most impotent thing is your leader and troops, if your f2p then Bomin, Rose, Tracker, Snow Queen, Death Archer
Set your leader as one of the ranged heroes and change your formation to Inf Phal or Cav Wedge
Send 4, 8 or 12 Inf and Cav, you get two extra squads to take damage instead of your ranged if you send 12 over 4, doesnt make a huge difference, then just send your normal t3 / 4 mix of ranged and send it off, your 12 inv and cav will soak up some damage so only 12 troops are taking the damage that your entire ranged would take for a few seconds,
If you send an army hero in an attack you need to send at bare minimum 4 troops for that hero to have a squad to participate in the battle, otherwise you will not get the army bonus - you change your leader to your main troop type your sending for the Squad Attack Bonus - its better on 249k troops or even more if you have an army size boost then 4 if you just have Rose as your leader when sending full inf and ranged attacks.
Watcher = Infantry
Rose = Cavalry
Bomin = Ranged
For two troops you can pretty much do the same but make sure your two troop types are behind the third type that you only send 4-12 troops to
If you watch Saver or Aevatrex and wonder why they change their leaders before Solos and Rallies then this is why. Changing your leader does not massively change much but in the long run you will lose less troops and maybe stop yourself being capped once.
Edit: Adding some more Info about squads and how to check your heroes army type (mostly for those with p2p heroes) for those wondering why this works.
Basically heroes need a Squad to participate in the battle, 4 troops make one squad, 8 makes two and 12 makes three.
To get a heroes logistic bonus in a battle you need at least 4 troops for that hero to join the squad, this isnt an issue for regular one troop heroes but for army heroes in single or two troop attacks this can make a massive difference, you could be losing 20-40% army attack by not sending 8 troops.
Go to your Rose Knight and look at the battle skills, you have the Cav HP, Army Attack logistic skills and the Wood Production admin skill. On the bottom you have command which adds to your squad attack bonus and on the bottom right what troop type it is.
Logistic Skills only apply when that hero participates in a fight while admin skills are on 24/7 - hence why Trickster is a crappy leader / wall hero - Check your wall garrison heroes

This is correct. If you look at practice setups for phalanxes you will see 4 of each troop type. So you need to send 4 to activate rose's or bombin's army attack. If still unsure test it out on a darknest

i believe this video was a good idea to help other players, but it is only a concept video. perhaps you could make a more in depth video with a test against a constant target such as a level 4 darknest. you could set up the rally and have only 1 troop join each time so you shouldn't win and can show the difference with darknest troop losses, providing a consistent set of reports that shows HOW MUCH it makes a difference
Even if you don’t send 1 cav troop and your leader is rose knight all your march will receive the gear benefits in Battle

Say you only have F2P heros, when sending full cav you should send rose, child, death knight and goblin. Even though goblin is ranged and will not fight in battle (unless you do choose to send at lest one range), you will still get the 20% army attack without sending any range. And by doing this you arnt even loosing out on squad attack, by sending sage you will only get 50% def, and he will still not even fight in the battle, because there are a max of 4 squads of each troop, lead by one hero each, meaning sending all cav heros would make one sit in the back. i will repeat, YOU STILL GET HERO BOOSTS WITHOUT SENDING ANY TROOPS OF THEiR SPECIFIC TYPE

Not sending the right troops with hero so cav troops with cav hero. You will still get the attack,hp or def buff but not the heros squad dmg or special attacks. So yes they will sit idle and not fight if the right troop isnt with them but they will still give there attack buffs etc. Just wont fight and give their squad dmg or special atck. Which doesn't really matter tbh the attack buff is what matters.

If u send 4 cavs heros 1 infantry all army attack with all cavs troops. U will still get the troop boost on all 5 heros but on the infantry hero u won't get the hero tactics. THIS IS LORDS MOBILE 101.
chris tobias so what ur saying a hero with "army health, attack, defense" all army with all of army attack. If I don't send infantry then my cavs won't get the boost since they're not infantry. Really...then that shoots everyone's theory

If cavs heroes only go with cavs, so if your leader is cav and using range or inf , his status will not be activated i think. What do you think?

I've watched a video. It says that if we send a mix troops to atk someone or while we are defending our turf, the only gear's effect would work only army atk, army def and army HP.
Does it mean that the single effect like in Fiery Tomahawk cav atk, range atk and inf atk will not give any effect to mix troops. Is it true?

I think sending one troop to activate though is silly divide your troops you can send by how many heros and each hero gets it's own squad. Squad damage only covers so many troops if you have more than that hero command they dont count towards ultimate

It's basic asf. Send rose knight as leader all range troops with range only heroes. Bcuz squad attack matters BIG time. And you'll get your army attack from Rose Knight but won't be able to use her squad Att damage which is 200% cuz there's no cav in there. So you gonna send at least 1 cav there to get it. You do not have to send the troop type of the heroes that you send to get their bonus you get the heroes bonus Regardless of what troops you send or what troop type they are... You should really check your information before you put it out there and confuse a lot of people Just because you don't see the heroes going into battle doesn't mean those stats were not applied to the battle

Click the heroes on animation, it describes if heroes are active. Descriptions are moving, in battle, and if heroes in the background then it says this soldier doesn't work. You can't send 5 same heroes type when attacking with 1 troop type, the 5th heroes has to be different troop type with army boost. Ex. Full cavalry attack, then send Rose Knight, Child, Night Raven, Death knight, or other cavalry heroes, and for 5th hero a army heroes that are non cavalry army heroes. To activate 5th heroes send 4-12 range troops and 4-12 infantry troops. Here, you can also change your troop army line up for best result when attacking. Talk to your buddy Aevatrex he can enlightened you. =)
