  • HOWICK, KWAZULU-NATAL, SOUTH AFRICA, 1 March 2013. A 1m-long wild Nile crocodile, which has been captured close to KwaZulu-Natal's second largest city, Pietermaritzburg, recovers at the FreeMe wildlife rehabilitation centre near Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The juvenile reptile, which is receiving minor medical attention at the centre, is reported to have been captured by wildlife officials near the Albert Falls Dam, a popular recreation and camping area.
