That is pure flying. No computers or fancy electronics, just stick and rudder! I grew up in airplanes operating off a private, sod airstrip. Dad took many farm families on their first airplane ride in the evenings over their farms. The smooth air and golden light made a big impression on them and displayed how magical flying is. I really miss those days and how beautiful earth looked from 500 feet. My chief pilot had a J-3 Cub and enjoyed taking up my wife and doing some mild aerobatics; he was a former crop duster and civilian instructor for the Navy. I had a 31 year career in corporate flying; the jets were fun to fly but didn't match the pure joy of flying a light aircraft in the evening and enjoying the sunset.
Yeah, I been thinkin bout gettin one of them newfangled aerioplanes with just the one set of wings. I mean, the fabric on my ol bucket is startin to peel and has a couple holes already startin, but she just runs so good on 4 of her jugs I hate to give her up
What is that beautiful low wing? I saw the tail and thought Piper, but I can't see with the limited shots. I thought it was a Comanche, but I'm just not sure. I can't see it. Some type of Rally model, Aerospatiale? The Cubs are Beautiful. There is no better late afternoon, low and slow aircraft ever made!

You’re completly right. Taking a break from the airbus and flying a bit in the Cub is one of the best things I know.
Nice work, grattis
Wonderful. I too love to fly at sunset. We are so lucky to have this experience. Simply amazing. Great music and video. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you! Lucky indeed.

Next time, leave off the annoying music. I like to hear what is said and the sound of the airplane. Otherwise good video.
Not really pleasant to listen to terrible wind noise, and in this video nothing is said😄 Thanks!
