Flippin wow. 3.10 onward, what a song. What praise, what truth. Priase be. Wow! I'm not really a big Signature Sound fan, but that performance just blows me away
I've always been an appreciator of good harmonious performances, The McGuire Sisters, Ames Brothers, Mills Brothers, Blackwood Brothers, Statesmen and the like...these guys blow the lid off of this type singing! Absolutely stunning and amazing! I'm buying everything they have available on DVD and CD!
I gotta tell you, I've heard this song done many times, but not with the emotional impact of these guys. Tear machine is on. Thank you SS for this wonderful version.
I never miss this group when they appear locally, and I have been so blessed by all of their music and their love of Jesus. They are remarkable. May God continue to bless their journey as they serve Him.
I am so moved by Ryan's emotion that he puts into the message of this song. There is no doubt he believes in the Message of this song and sings it to encourage us. For those of us that falter along the way... we can find assurance.... thanks!
when i first heard this song, i was crying. it was kinda powerful to me. may God bless these guys with their ministry! they do a really great job in spreading the word of God thru songs! thank you so much for sharing this with everyone! God bless!
Oh wow, so incredibly moving. The words of the song and sound of their voices makes you feel like you are actually there, when you realize what it was Mary and the disciples probably were feeling. Their sorrow, but also their hope, and then their indescribable joy, as their son, their friend, their Savior rose again.
I don't know their names but when tall boy belts out "Somehow her son would live again!" I am in absolute awe! What a powerful message he delivers in those lines!
Beautiful, and I love how the song focuses on the Savior's sacrifice on Calvary. I also like how these men obviously support each other in the song. Nobody is seeking individuality. Its all a team effort. Thanks for posting this.
+Jeff Arnold please do not use the term "easter", that is the worship of the pagan Babylonian goddess Aster. You want to worship the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ? Then worship Him on Passover. That was a foreshadowing of His Death, Burial and Resurrection! Praise His Holy name!
EASTER, EASTER, EASTER, EASTER! Christians don't worship Aster or any other false god. We know what the name Easter means to us. It is the celebration of the ACTUAL Resurrection, not the foreshadowing. Why not enjoy the realization of the promised Messiah?!
please refer to God respectfully with the awe He deserves and listen to Guy Penrod & Gloria Gaither version in you think this moves you to tears. God bless you & Merry Christ-mas.
@jenniferalls Did Ryan leave to do solo? I didn't know why he left. But I havn't seen them in concert with Devon yet. Idk, but I hope you're not saying devon isn't any good. Idk, I'm tired and confused. :) But may God have his hand over EHSS that they do HIS will, not ours, or ernies, or bills, just Gods!
They all walked away, nothing to say They'd just lost their dearest friend All that He said, now He was dead So this was the way it would end The dreams they had dreamed were not what they'd seemed Now that He was dead and gone The garden, the jail, the hammer, the nail How could a night be so long? Then came the morning Night turned into day The stone was rolled away Hope rose with the dawn Then came the morning Shadows vanished before the sun Death had lost and life had won For morning had come The angel, the star, the kings from afar The wedding, the water, the wine Now it was done, they'd taken her Son Wasted before His time She knew it was true, she'd watched Him die too She'd heard them call Him just a man But deep in her heart she knew from the start Somehow her Son would live again Then came the morning Night turned into day The stone was rolled away Hope rose with the dawn Then came the morning Shadows vanished before the sun Death had lost and life had won For morning had come Then came the morning Shadows vanished before the sun Death had lost and life had won For morning had come For morning had come

Ezekiel 32:5; "I will spread your flesh... and fill the valleys with your remains." 35:8b; "those killed by the sword will fall on your hills and in your valleys" 37:4b "Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!... I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life" II Kings 3:17; "this valley will be filled with water, and you, your cattle and your other animals will drink." Genesis 1:31; "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good... and there was morning - the sixth day."

They all walked away, nothing to say
They'd just lost their dearest friend
All that He said, now He was dead
So this was the way it would end
The dreams they had dreamed were not what they'd seemed
Now that He was dead and gone
The garden, the jail, the hammer, the nail
How could a night be so long?
Then came the morning
Night turned into day
The stone was rolled away
Hope rose with the dawn
Then came the morning
Shadows vanished before the sun
Death had lost and life had won
For morning had come
The angel, the star, the kings from afar
The wedding, the water, the wine
Now it was done, they'd taken her Son
Wasted before His time
She knew it was true, she'd watched Him die too
She'd heard them call Him just a man
But deep in her heart she knew from the start
Somehow her Son would live again
Then came the morning
Night turned into day
The stone was rolled away
Hope rose with the dawn
Then came the morning
Shadows vanished before the sun
Death had lost and life had won
For morning had come
Then came the morning
Shadows vanished before the sun
Death had lost and life had won
For morning had come
For morning had come
