@TheRealChx101 That is very correct, if you pivot on the heel you risk slipping far easier than if you pivot on your toes (they hold traction like little fingers) also, if you are not pivoting enough, you are not generating the acceleration of the total mass. Mass and acceleration are absolutely necessary for efficient power!
@TheRealChx101 Would you be willing to elaborate on "turn my toe". I think you are referencing not pulling your toes back to make the heel sharp, or maybe kicking with the whole edge of the foot which can damage the ankle. Not sure, but would love to understand. God Bless and train hard! Bateman
It's all about creating a kinetic chain. Make sure you are driving from the base leg (on the floor) and into the kicking leg as a simultaneous motion to connect the kinetic links between the differing joints in the body creating an equal and opposite reaction force.
