can you please touch on PID design and tuning for simscape models particularly HEV or EV applications where there can be multiple PI controllers for ICE, EM, Batt, Trans etc. Great videos. Thank you guys.

Hi Sajad,I have a twofold answers to your recent question.#1 There is a racing lounge video called „Principles of Control Design“. There we explain how to set up and tune controllers, incl. PID.#2 If you have problems getting a model to run, please ask the Q on the MATLAB Answers forum (+ provide a detailed description) and tag it with ‚racinglounge‘. We will be happy to take a look.Best Christoph

IN my MATLAB R2018a when i create 'From Workspace' then show some "Undefined functions or variables" massage and also show red box. Please help me what i do

I don't have my data available in my from workspace block, so when i try to run the model, it's not working
How can i solve this problem? where can i find the data?

hello, i am modelling a similar type of transmission system in which i have used 5 different gears instead of torque converter and have a automatic gear selection logic, but even in 5th gear the vehicle speed do not exceed 50 Km/Hr what would be the possible reason

Ed Marquez (blue shirt cool dude) is sick of Christoph Hahn's constant stupid interruptions. Check out the annoyance hidden inside the smirk on Marquez's face at 09:15

Most of MATLAB's videos are hosted on their webpage as well with more resources linked to the video. They typically include models on FileExchange.

Hi, for my dissertation I have to design a bicycle model quasi-static laptime simulator in matlap to test the lap time effect of several rear wing profiles on a f1 car around 4 grand prix tracks which I have the track plotting data for. Do you know any tutorials or reading that explain how to write the code in Matlab? I'm having difficulties working out how to make a GG-v diagram in order to get the accelerations to solve for the cornering speeds for segment. I know you've done a steady state video and shown the gg-diagram, however it didn't go into detail the code/formulas used to create the diagram etc.

Hi Shaun, hopefully that blog post can give you some helpful info. Especially the embedded video from TU Munich (team TUfast) goes into the details of ggv. Best Christoph

Hi thank you for your reply, appreciate your time. Yes, that was the video I was referring to. The student talks about its concept and what results it can give you, but never really showed how to implement it in matlab in terms of code and equations. For example, how can you determine max corner velocity if that is a function of the ay and ax accelerations from the gg-v diagram, yet you need to work out max corner velocities in order to plot the gg-v diagram, this is where I'm struggling.
