A good review. I just can't see beyond the price . . . . I had hard luggage on the demo BMW's , I had a set of document panniers and top box on the CB750 when I was despatching. I just cannot imagine a situation in which I would pay money like that for a box, unless perhaps it was a safety deposit box filled with gold. But that is the world we live in. Every day I feel more and more alienated by the prices people are prepared to pay for stuff to wear or bolt onto their bikes. Look forward to hearing about the track day. I assume this means your sorted out the homologation or labelling of your lid. 👍
It's expensive, I felt I had to put that in the video or it would have been disingenuous. That said it seems to be where they're all priced at, what their bottom line is on these cases I don't know, but I would love to know. That said, I would support a company that supports so many bike models in any case, as I feel that's missing massively today a lot of the time. Hahaha a box full of gold would be lovely. I've come to accept I'll never own a newer car, the prices here and the monthly payments people are willing to pay....for a car!! The world has gone a bit mad in that regard! I did indeed, I got a nice AGV K1 on sale :D
Good vid again. The range of bikes H&B cover is quite surprising (to me, anyway) and another plus for the investment. Bugs in the garage - been painting mine recently, and yep, many suicidal flying things found their way onto my walls before drying complete 🤬
Thank you sir :) No it is! Both surprising and impressive. I love seeing that level of compatibility as someone who has a problem with buying bikes :D Ah the classic old bug imprint in the paint job, I'd bet they do it on purpose.
But is it a Silly Goose mug? I love that you've shown the cases who's boss by shin kicking them. They obviously now fear their master. I'm glad they're working so well for you. You've made me dig into H&B a little more and it turns out they may have side cases that would fit on my bike (which is kind of hard to do). I'll have to keep them in mind.
Sometimes, it depends on how the goose is feeling. Hahaha nah they 100% won that battle tbh, I spent a while crying :D Yeah I'm genuinely over the moon with them, it's a pity everyone can't try things before purchase! Ohhhhh that'd be cool.
Thank you! :) Yes indeed, and the fact they support so many bikes so far back really gives me a lot of comfort I can carry the boxes with me for a long time. And yes, modern disposable crap I really don't like.
I see things out of the corner of my eye all the time here in this house. We believe there is a spirit here. We call him George. Short story. A man was murdered in this house, one of the previous owners (gay couple). My clairvoyant friend went through the house without me saying anything to him. He described the room it happened in (our office which was previously a bathroom) and described a pain in his heart... like stabbing. The victim saw indeed stabbed. Freaky. My mate said the spirit is not angry, just not ready to go yet.
This should be a video, I love stories like this. It's always sad to me that ALL spirits are portrayed as angry, if I was to haunt anywhere I'd just be chilling behind someone watching them play games or something, cheering their successes. Not some silly goose mean spirit.
Keys and locks are crap and the hinge mechanism for the lid seem dubious at best... I'd spend my life worrying that I'd either over extend the life when opening it or the wind would catch it and break the mechanism... These are fairly fundamental issues, but you rated them 9.5 out of 10!!!???
I never said they were crap? I said the key is a bit mushy it's more a minor irritation than an issue, the actual latch is solid as and I said the hinge is also very solid, it's been caught by the wind several times and hasn't had an issue, thought I said the hinge was solid in the video but maybe it wasnt clear. So - minor irritation aside, yeah 9/9.5 out of 10. Leagues better than the Shad stuff I've had and boxes on the CBF. Also better than a removable lid imo and side hinged opening boxes. I do think through these videos quite a bit before I make them.
@@TheGorillaBiker rereading my comment, it comes across as bitchy... Not intended, so my apologies. My version of OCD would keep me up at night thinking about this stuff (kind-of ish). I do appreciate the videos, that's why I'm watching... I'm not here just to be a bollox
I mean I've had them on there for 1000s of miles now, but you're right. You can tell el cheapo without ever touching them 😂😂 Literally no issues in all weather bud, I still recommend them :) El cheapo 😂😂 Ahhhh I love the internet.

Currently looking at cases for my BMW GS. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these cases.
Thank you for watching my thoughts :P I think they'd go great on there too. Anything ADV I think these suit! :)

@@4boyzzzz quite comfy
I think they are awesome. I miss lockable luggage greatly.
Lockable luggage is the shiz, you can get Hepco & Becker stuff to fit your bike I believe :)

Note to self, camera gear is in the right bag, ignore the left one, there's just dirty underwear in there 🙂
Thanks for the review 😀
Hahahahaha mostly yes :D Thanks for watching!!
It would be great to have so much storage for bike trips. Bold of them to put a speed warning on a motorcycle product 😂
You know it's great, you got to be jealous in person :P Haha it's always on them, 130kmh seems to always be the max :P

Great review! Expensive? Sure, but high quality usually is. Especially now, in an age where everything is designed to be disposable.

I also see imaginary bugs in my garage when I am recording late at night. 🤪
Sometimes they're real and must be duelled with a flip flop.
Great Bike and cases👍, Jacco Evers The Netherlands
Thanks :) I must get back to the Netherlands some day!
So how many cans of Kilkenny can you carry 🤔 😊
Hahaha a good question. I'm going to guess at least 24 between the two 😂
Do you still have the snap on hats for sale. Dog ate mine 😢
I do not, let me look in to setting it up! Ah now why'd the dog do that 😂

@bluefoam ah it didn't! You're grand no need for apologies :) Always good to get challenged anyway so I can explain, glad you are here :)
