Vehicles today still aren’t safe, just waaay more expensive. My boyfriend’s Tesla almost killed us last year by taking it upon itself by slamming on the brakes on the freeway… twice!!! I agree with you though, simple cars, simpler times❤❤❤
A car is only as safe as the driver. So our cars back than were just as safe. And you could argue safer because they didn't have all these distracting screens. Good luck changing the climate control in your car without taking your eyes off the road for 30 seconds.
What you talking about???...cars back then were made way better than these paper machete cars that easily break down today.
@@Tobit-p2m It was a mixed bag back then with no airbags, & seriously do you remember how light something like a Toyota Corolla, or Honda Civic was in the 80's, and early/mid 90's where a couple guys could pick one up, and move it around, and thinner seat belts, and sometimes only lap belts? so again it was a mixed bag.

Glass jar Heinz is one of our biggest losses. It doesn’t taste anything like that anymore.
They make "Simply Heinz" with sugar instead of corn syrup. It still has "natural flavoring" though.

I grew up on LI and the closest one to me was 40 mins away in Riverhead. Probably quicker for you to take the ferry across 😂
Many of the Pizza Huts closed during the pandemic. Both of the ones closest to me closed, as well as many others across NY state. But one of the ones near me is re-opening soon. Hopefully, this month. I can't wait. So, don't give up hope. You may get one near you before long @John_Locke_108

THat pizza hut commercial that supposed to take place in 2015 is hilariousness...especially since around that time or shortly after , an 80's renaissance would happen, in part because of shows like stranger things. Pizza hut was telling us the future, lol
What even stranger is that 10 years from 2015 there will be few if any sit down PIZZA huts anymore.

Better now as far as medicine and internet that lets you find all of these nostalgic things but also better than as we didn’t have so many distracted people constantly sitting in their phones and AI thinking for them. When you saw people waiting for a bus or plane they were reading or using their brain being creative.

6:10, Must be one of those wacky Miller's Outpost commercials someone posted about. We didn't have Miller's Outpost where I lived so I didn't see these in the 1980s, but those commercials were wacky as hell.
