It all depends on which side of the road that you are modelling. If you look where the assembly marker is, sometimes the Curb and Gutter is on the Right and sometimes its on the Left.
@@KyleEvansCivil understood. I understand from the perspective if you are using alignments. Right or left can be the direction of travel from start to finish along the alignment. However, in the case where you are using curb fillets in the intersection tool, I am confused as to how to use curb fillet, because, i only get to select one fillet in the intersection tool and that assembly is deployed on BOTH curves for the intersection. (Hopefully you understand, what I am trying to ask)
@@RD-gj4ki yes, in that case it's curb return right, because the lane is on the left and curb and gutter on the right. Unless you drive on the left side of the road.
Sir, u have explain every thing very well in this whole series of videos. sir i have facing a error in cut fill qty when i am using curb assembly with sub-base extension 0.2m when i am create corridors surface from bottom links in my corridor surfaces back side of curb and upper side of sub-base extension portion surface are missing in cut/fill . how can i solve this issue. sir, please give some suggestion to solve this problem. thanks u very much. i have attached the error pic in comments section.
I do not see a picture, if it was a link it may have gotten filtered out. Civil 3D from my experience does not do a very good job at gathering volumes from anything other than a "top" code in your corridor. You can try to get a surface from base, or sub base, but the issue is that every single subassembly needs to have those codes in them. What I do, is get volumes based on the "top" code, and then manually subtract the Asphalt, concrete, other volumes.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have the colour picker combo box in the quick access toolbar, I got linetype and thickness no problem. please share your method!!
@@KyleEvansCivil ahh that's my mistake. I assumed you had added the picker to the quick access toolbar but I assume from what you're saying it's not the quick access toolbar it's a properties toolbar. How is that added?
The toolbars are underneath the ribbon on my Civil 3D. To access them, the easiest way is to type in "-toolbar" at the command line, then when prompted enter the "properties" name, and finally click show.
how do you if to use curb fillet right or left?

@@KyleEvansCivil ok. Then I will have to use curb return left.
Thanks for your videos. They have been an immense help to me.

Sir have u uploaded any video regarding these volume calculation manually.?

Yes sir u r right that was a link
@@naseeryounasbhatti1077 No I do not but if you know the length, width and depth you can easily calculate it.

Are you talking about the color picker in the properties toolbar I have open ? That color picker shows up automatically.
