I was thinking, would it be good idea to make it an 8x8 by adding another axle and extending the frame?
I've seen something like that on a wpl facebook page I believe. It was a 10x10 using wpl parts if I'm not mistaken. These kind of modes are what make WPL RCers very ingenious modders.
im going to get this because i tested the other rc wpl c12 or something and it really ucks without upgrades

Awesome channel bud, would a v1 or v2 ESC and radio out of a scx24 run one of these b36's? I would like to get a kit version and was wondering if it would work.
thank you! I think the scx24 system might not be enough for it. I have seen some run 10a Esc's on stock ones. If you want to make these perform your going to add weight and its going to need a better source of power.

Not bad at all right? It's mostly stock B36KM except for the front leaf longer travel mod. The new leaf springs that wpl have come out with are way stronger than before specially with the mod that makes even the older leaf spring last longer.

Nice run .I have a question for you I just built 2 c44km as a stay at home project his and her's. I have two of the v2 sound kit but I cant run them at same time they interfere. One is on car1 and the other is set to car2 on the esc ..I think you can run up to ten at same time..any help would be much appreciated.
The easiest way since you are going to be using them together and not with one transmitter is to put them both in car 1 and when you turn them on make sure you turn one truck on and bind it to a transmitter. When you have connection then turn on the other truck and bind. On car 2 you have to bind then hold down the 2 buttons everytime you turn it on to bind. Hope that can help you out.
@@RunThatRC thank you for the help very much appreciated. That's how I have them but they still interfere if we drive them within 15 feet of each other... I figured since there are 2.4ghz that there would be no problem... I've tried everything... if you ever get the chance try it out ...you videos rock thank you for great content ...

Nice run. The B36 looks so natural in that environment. I’m guessing you did your longer screw in the leaf springs trick for that travel. Any other suspension changes?
That's the only change and the wheels and tires ofcourse. The rear suspension limiting tab broke off on it's own like all my wpl 6x6 and that gives more travel but can be an issue with binding if you don't have a KM kit or the upgrade center axle.
Nice video, and I have to ask if you glued the tires? Maybe it's an illusion but it looked like they are spinning separately from the rims sometimes 🤔 The dual wheels look great 👍
they are not glued but stay on well and slip is very minimal. I didn't glue them on because I didn't know if I would still need wheel weights.
Any possible tire solutions ? I know you have replaced them but any other rock crawler mspec
rc4wd has some but they are a little smaller diameter i believe.
What did you have to do to make the rear tires double up
that's a metal wheel set with tires that comes that way. Should be on the link but check other sites may find a better price.
Are axias locked? And if are which if front are does it have trouble steering?

depends on your skill level with Rc kits. For someone who has experience it's simple. You need a new esc receiver to control the 2 speed as well to complete the install. check here for the 2 speed: www.wpl-rc.com/?ref=DAVIDCLARK

The B36KM comes standard with the center axle upgrade. It is definitely a must for the WPL 6x6 rigs. Glad they decided to make it standard equipment for the KM edition.
@@RunThatRC What do you think of those aftermarket tires vs other tire options? For example, the B1 style (Pitbull rock beasts) and the B36 stock tires.
@@Overland_RC they are maid of a grippy rubber compound but they are very stiff. You can wear out the threads and cut new treads in it after that hahaha. That's how thick the contact patch is. The stock b36 tires are soft and need glued unlike these. I like both of them. These will be good if you like loading up your rig so you don't look like you have flat tires.
@@RunThatRC Very true. They were made for RC semi trucks and construction trucks. I put foam in my WPL tires anyways and they don't dismount at all now and they are not too stiff with foam

That is whats awesome about RC. You can mod things the way you like. It's your hobby and you should be able to do what you want right? I'm not a pure scale rc driver I just like to mess around and have fun.
@@RunThatRC I am also a grown up child. I wrote because I myself discovered this property in real life. Tatra 815 versus ZIL 157. I grew up in Tatra 143 and thought that it had a huge cross. but twin wheels allow you to increase the load capacity and put less pressure on the ground. but the phenomenon of single wheels is to penetrate into the ground. the car moves according to the principle of the driver. floats back into the ground. but the Ural 375/4320 is a legend. to this day it has single wheels and even on dump trucks.

im sure that when it had the stock wheels on it that it would’ve performed better in sand
it is possible. I ran one with stock tires at the same spot but had a trailer with a c14 4ws on it. maybe a tire shootout in the future.
