I'm not agree I think Man's of steel's suit is much beter than this. The most wrong with it it's the cape and the symbol it's so small. The Henry Cavil's superman suit lets see the powerfull body through the texture.
You gotta love the use of practical effect with Singer. Same mindset as Nolan to bring more real into filmmaking. Not just green or blue screen the shit out of whole movie.

Me personally, at the very least, I didn't mind this film. How classy Superman appeared (thanks to Brandon Routh [hate all you want, you know he did]); if it really was just about doing one more Christopher-Reeve-as-Superman movie; how it was displayed as the classy version of Superman (Routh) saving the world in contrast to the dark version of Superman (Cavill) saving the world; etc. I did enjoy as a movie, but I did have a strong it was gonna get dissed. That's really what sucks about comic-book movies - not just critics, but comic-book geniuses as well, who always have something bad about them. Apparently, no comic-book movie will ever be identical to the comic, and if it does, well, there'll still be something wrong.
He is VERY classy, even behind the scenes he's like Superman. Cavill's got charisma too, you can see it in interviews, but the scripts of those Snyder movies don't let him show it AT ALL. Really, just watch the behind the scenes of Superman Returns then Man of Steel/BvS back to back and tell me which crew had more fun...In "Returns" they're like "yeah, this is where he saves people", meanwhile in Snyder-films "yeah this is where he brokes a guy's neck or this is where they basically punch their way through half a city..."
The care that they had to made this as realistic as possible is worthy of respect, even if you don't like this movie, if it was marvel these days (or even Dc), it would be all CGI!

They cast those Actors but why the script aways focus on lex Luthor more than General Zod ? I read the news information compare to others heroes and Actors on those script I didn’t get the point . If Warner Bro is interesting for using Brainiac and Bizarro , at one point than do it what is the difficult ? Warner Bro is doing a guy fall in love with the girl treatment on Brainiac . If I gonna pick a characters to let Brandon Routh fight , in CGI action scenes is going to be Kryptonite Man , some one with power of magic and a Monster . I know I like they add the shooter scenes , and stop by Superman because that is not Alien or Robot issue for Superman that can be fear on .
There will be no more actors who can beat Christopher Reeve's Superman. But in my opinion, Brandon Routh's Superman was pretty good. Unfortunately the movie was boring and the sequel disappeared.
Everything was great, sounds effect and Superman looks good, a little depressing on Lois stories part, could a done better writing but I wish they had a sequel

I love Henry Cavill but I think Routh was a better Clark Kent/Superman. Henry just isn't the right one for me although I enjoyed the movie.
