See the amazing animals that inhabit the largest remaining stand of ancient old-growth Bald Cypress left in North America, located in the Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Naples Florida.
Thank you William. We were at Corkscrew Swamp yesterday (1-5-19) and enjoyed the 2 mile walk. We saw raccoons, several alligators including a mother guarding it's babies, and a variety of birds including a Painted Bunting, Pileated and Red-bellied Woodpeckers and various wading birds. Just seeing the swamp in it's natural state is in and of itself a real treat. This is one of the few places in Florida you can experience a walk into the wild just as it was thousands of years ago!
A must see place.
