Maybe do the date night Goodwill thrifty outfit challenge. Girls get outfits for the guys and guys get outfits for the girls.
Some of their comments throughout the video i was like 🙄 considering they put out new outfits on their site every couple of months I'm not surprised they made such a thoughtless comment like that
yall are so nitpicky. obviously they know that. i mean even their sisters still shop at thrift stores. she lliterally said its the stuff that peopl 'throw out" and its true cos ppl give them up since they dont want their items anymore. also, throwouts could mean that the items arent that nice. which is why thrift stores are still always so full and never empty.
Dang I really frown upon Brooklyn’s attitude that thrifted means “throw away”. Thrifted is so much better for the environment and I am not lying when I say that the most compliments I get on my clothes are on clothes that I’ve literally bought at goodwill.
Yes! I buy all of my clothes secondhand because of current financial situation. I'm fortunate that I have access to thrift stores so I'm not reliant on fast fashion. Unfortunately, there's stigma and shame around it still.
I don’t purchase from fast fashion places but I kinda feel uncomfortable around thrift shopping with the germs and maybe it’s just me but thrift stores have a bad smell, but it’s your choice and whatever makes you happy!
I think it's really not cool to imply thrifting is bad. It's much better for the environment, and also a much cheaper option in many places. I really hope you donated all these dresses instead of throwing them.
