I am so sorry for your loss my friend. I know exactly how you feel after losing my Dad. If your Mum was a believer, she has escaped this messed-up world and gone on to paradise. The hard part of it all is upon us as we grieve for our loss. As you said, in so many words, time heals. And I know your Mum would certainly want you to continue on. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first (their bodies): Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds (clouds = all the saints dressed in white robes), to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. If you know the Lord, based on my studies in Prophecy, you will see her very soon.
Yep, the good lady will still be following your adventures. Of that, I have no doubt. She'll even find ways to remind you to call-it-a-day and and hike out before it gets too dark or before you get to tired: or she'll nudge you to take the safer route and such like: you'll see.
