Hi Sarah what a great idea today’s video giving us a window in a day of a wife in the village. Very similar to Burundian village life actually the only difference is the language and the way you serve the husband. Thank you I really enjoyed it.😍

THESE ARE TRADITIONS THAT KEEP US HEALTHY.EATING NATURAL ORGANIC FOODS. WE MUST SUPPORT THESE VILLAGES AND WAY OF LIFE RATHER THAN PUSHING PEOPLE INTO URBAN AREAS WHERE THEY DONT USE AND PASS DOWN TRADITIONAL LIFESTYLES THAT HELP US RETAIN OUR WAY OF LIFE AND STAY HEALTHY.

Here in the states we wash, poke, then grease the skin with butter, then bake our sweet potatoes. When they are tender we cut down the middle, add salt pepper and butter and eat. We eat the skin as well. I like to watch the type of foods you like prepare, it is relaxing being in nature. God bless always

Ok I checked for you and Kulekula is also known as an oyster nut it is in the pumpkin family it is a gourd. It is very good for the body, you can eat them raw or roast them like a pumpkin seed. You can also take the oil and make soap or candles. They originally were grown in Tanzania and Mozambique. Try them roasted and just eat them they are suppose to be yummy. Another name for it is Queens nut or Kweme the science name is Telfairia Pedata.

This is the best way of steaming sweet potatoes and bananas, all the nutrients remain in without leaching out. The thick paste soup looks nutritious too. Best of all, it's all natural food humanity should be eating plant base.

If you make the kitchens larger, it will not be so dark inside and you could put a couple of tables inside that way you could store cooking utensils on and you can prepare the
    food from the tabletops
instead of the floor. Also, a larger space will keep you from inhaling all the smoke in
    such a small space.

I was quite suprised to see you peeling the sweet potato a bit deeper, and I was worried. Otherwise, this great video brings me back to my village. I miss my village so much. I am now living in Czech Republic.
