I think we are going to try this out in the upcoming year for my 5th grader. This video helped. I bought everything but was a bit overwhelmed with all the prep needed.

I’m glad this helped! I agree! It can be so overwhelming when you are first looking at the program. There is so much to read before to prepare. It really is a lot easier to implement once you get started.

Do you feel like you have to supplement anything?

I would say maybe. She is gaining writing skills in a fun way. I do have spectrum writing that I may add in for other mechanics with sentence structure, but so far I haven’t added it in yet. For grammar, there is definitely a need to supplement. There are only fold and go grammar folders per lesson. So that isn’t much. It isn’t a complete LA program, but a good writing program
