@@POH341he had a chance because if he had done what I said he should’ve done he’d of had prime real estate on strange who full sent he’d have gotten that land and maybe could of ganged up with Barbie to 2v1 corgi or even boat north on Somali empire corgi and Barbie ended up doing he had many changes to win he just didn’t take any 😂

By the way, the naval battles are really helpful for preventing opponents from getting a beachhead on you. They have to send their boats further away from your coast so their boats lose troops on the way there, and you get to deploy your boats closer to your coast which can sap away their boats' troops until they're all gone. Naval battles also don't break truces so it can be really helpful for establishing a "sphere of influence" where you can even stop your allies from boating into where you want to realize opportunity. I've done it for instance when blocking off Europe in the Asia map to stop an ally from boating behind me and taking that land.
