In my opinion, the Buster Sword is better because it is immune to errors, so you guarantee extra damage every turn, because you can leave it for last and calculate the extra dice and if it goes over the Jackpot, you can use that dice to do the damage, whereas the Ultima Weapon is really only valuable when you hit Jackpots, which happens less often than errors.
