Fun trailer! I want to see a lot of screen time with Beetlejuice and Lydia together. In the cartoon series, those characters are best friends and Lydia goes into the afterlife. Hoping the sequel leans more toward like the series, seeing more of the chemistry with those two.

Did you know Dolores (played by Monica Bellucci) is beetlejuices ex wife. At 3minutes & 32 seconds of your reaction video you can see her stapling her face and is missing a ring finger- which in the original movie when beetlejuice is looking for a ring for Lydia he pulls out a finer with a ring on it.
@TheMovieCouple it’s so odd, I just turned 27 in March of this year and I have never seen the original Beetlejuice even though, Michael Keaton is one of my favorite actors of all time. To me, even though they have very different styles, he’s just like Ryan Reynolds one of my other favorite actors of all time, in the sense that, if I’m on streaming and I see either one of them on a movie poster or both together on a movie poster which, I don’t believe the two have done a movie together, maybe they have and I’m just missing something but, the point is if I see either actor on a movie poster scrolling through streaming, I will click on it read the synopsis and if it interests me, I will easily give it a shot. That means I will be watching the original Beetlejuice on Max probably next Saturday or Sunday or even Monday since, I believe my mom is off for Labor Day and my mom, dad and I will probably watch the original because, we have tickets to see the sequel on Thursday night when it opens at 6:15pm which I’m super excited.
i knew it wasn’t going to be the daughter because when you listen to the audio REALLY closely, you can tell jenna’s third beetlejuice is a duplicate. like… literally copy/cut and paste. there’s no variation at all to her third beetlejuice. i highly doubt she’s even gonna say it three times in that scene. just a gut feeling.
🇬🇧🪳This will be something special I loved the original to as a kid. Alec Baldwin is still alive from the original, yet because of his situation. Of course even though its to late, as hes cleared from his court debacle he's not in it. But who knows there maybe something cleaver.🪳🇬🇧

What sold this trailer for me was hearing The Bee Gees classic "Tragedy". Now I know we're in for a wild ride when we see the movie.

Weren't the original ghost couple Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin? Both would have been available during production, so there could be a cameo.
Unless they are lying to keep the surprise, both have said they won't appear.
To be fair there could be a cameo without them actually being there for filming. CGI ghost style 😁
