In my experience with Temu, some of gemstone beads are either not the stone they claim, but are genuine gemstones, and others test as glass. The ametyst (2 types of beads) did test as amethyst, but one was more of a phantom amethyst, which I like. I test everything on my gem tester (a Presidium II). I bought aquamarine that tested as jade. I just received white jade that tested as glass (after I bought them, Temu changed the listing to jade glass beads. It just said jade when I purchased the beads). I've bought enamel and metal charms for jewelry-making that are excellent quality; I like their shoes ; clothing is sized more like Asian sizing, which is much narrower in the torso and bustline. In general, I am happy with their items, and will be ordering more soon (I placed 4 orders in a month!).

You would be surprised how many fakes you get from crystal stores as well. And they charge ridiculous prices for them.
A lot of crystal types are also man made, gold stone for example. But they are still sold as genuine crystal or mineral.
It's quite common for crystal to be dyed or heat treated as well so I don't really feel like the fake ones are a whole lot different for those reasons. Citrine clusters are rarely ever actually genuine citrine. It's usually colourless quartz or amethyst that has been heat treated to get the yellow/ brown colour.
I personally don't mind if it hasn't cost a lot but I buy crystals for decorative purpose. If someone wanted to collect for healing purposes or just wanted to collect different specimens of earth minerals then it's a problem.

    • @chromegirl2175
      @chromegirl2175 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@Gemzstone1 I always want to know if the beads I use are genuine gems. I make and sell jewelry on etsy. I don't know if my customers are buying for the stone's properties, or just because they like the piece/and or the look of certain gems. BTW, you make gorgeous jewelry! I don't have the patience to make that type of jewelry. You have a new subscriber! 😀

I noticed this as well, TEMU falsely advertises crystals I always have to google to see if I got the right stone. I was pretty surprised I purchased "Amethyst" beads and I ended up getting beads that looked like Lepidolite. Not sure if some stores just don't know what they are selling or just assume. A lot still look nice and for the price especially stones that are pretty expensive such as Sugilite, Jade, Kyanite, etc.

A big problem I have with Temu is no label saying what product is, just a serial or batch number. But if you want to send a piece back it has to be in original packaging and if you’ve opened half a dozen things you don’t know if you got right wrapping. And sometimes some rocks are labelled as something else that doesn’t exist.

Darn I was hoping you bought a piece of laborite..I was looking at some on there and saw the moonstones too but I missed the o-sized piece.. I’m going to be ordering g some now though. What do I think of Temu. I have bought things from them quite a few times. Usually things to store my sculpting tools in, kitchen things and some dog coats, I even got a really cute pair of slip on embroidered shoes for running out the door to take the dog out at tonight. Oh and a few tshirts and socks and capri pajamas. I love almost all of it. There were 2 things I got for my bathroom faucet and drain but neither one fit. I must have a tiny drain in my sink there and smaller than normal faucet or something. But I’ve been really happy with most of it. Loved the shirts, pjs and dog coats too. The way I look at it is where do you think more than half the stuff from Walmart or the dollar store or heck a lot of stores comes from? China right? So why not buy from Temu and cut out the middleman? Seriously. There are people who put ads on Facebook and Twitter and if you go look you can find the exact same item on Temu for a heck of a lot less. They buy f]from Temu and resell it. So no I have no problem buying from them. Oh one set of the crew type Sox I got were w]really thin. You could see thru them when you put them on so I wasn’t happy with them but loved to ankle socks.

So I just got crystal beads for bracelet making cuz I listen to crystal themed subliminals and the submaker said that getting the actual crystal irl will enhance results, so I got aventurine beads, rose quarts beads, and red jasper beads, along with 16 heart shaped rose quartz charms and an aventurine clover charm. When I listened to the Red Jasper subliminal and put the Red Jasper beads in my left hand, they immediately started making my hand tingle and my body started feeling light and stuff. This effect was a little bit dull with the other beads & charms but it was surreal. I also wanna know how to charge up these crystals and how to know if they are charged or need charging or something because that was quite weird. And they don't rlly tingle as much if I wear the bracelet on my wrist. Just wondering if there is anything else I can do to enhance this stuff, cuz it seems to work.

Technically, the sphere is white labradorite. True moonstone has a white flash, a silky quality, and is translucent to opaque. The jewelry industry just decided to call it moonstone, because it sounds more valuable. They are both feldspars, but they're structurally quite different.

Hi. You need to insert the needle of the necklace chain to the stud with white like how you wear wear a stud earring. It's not broken. It's just kinda length adjustable.

I've watched several Temu videos from different creators on here and the quality of the items they received has generally been pretty impressive. I've bought stuff from Wish a couple of times and it was trash.

I've done a lot of Temu orders; mostly kitchen or beauty stuff, and it's all been good. The crystals and jewelry I got were okay...some fake, some real. The few clothes I ordered were completely NOT what they claimed. They had "100% linen" or "100% cotton" and when I received them they were polyester, acrylide, etc, with maybe 20% cotton or linen. So I wouldn't trust their clothing at all, but most of the other items were good quality that one would normally pay at least 10x more for at USA prices (even for the Made in China stuff). I keep ordering because I keep finding things I've put off getting due to prices but when I see them on Temu, they are affordable. Just stay off the app since that, being connected with the Chinese Deep State, gives them access to all the info on your phone.

Yea , i’ve bought some crystals from temu and compared to places that are reputable and honestly I’ve wondered if some of the crystals being sold aren’t from temu and price jacked up 😢

After seeing your video I bought a haul and have to say that I had good luck with the purple flash labradorite and ammonite as well. I bought a 3” citrine tower and a double point pencil smoky quartz < 2” - I’d love for you to take a chance on those and see what you think! Thanks for the review - 😊

I bought a couple things from them before and they didn't take quite as long to get to me as I thought they would either. I just still can't believe you actually did fairly well! 😂 That ammonite was super pretty, my husband loves them.

Excellent review thank you so much for this video!!! I’ve been purchasing my crystals and stones from Temu for almost 6 months now!!! I love my purchases and your video just made my day!! my husband and I recently purchased our forever home and I’ve literally decorated 70% of our home with Temu products… 98% quality satisfaction!! no issues with returns or instant credit refunds. My Husband is a little frustrated because the delivery guys keep walking through our front lawn and have created a trail!!!😂😂😂😂😂. Have a fantastic and prosperous week! Be encouraged & know that you know!!! PEACE, light, love, patience, wisdom, compassion, understanding, forgiveness, courage, health, strength, healing and discernment unto you!!!!🙏🏽❤️💯🔥

Doesn't anyone worry about how they get the prices to be that low?? I'm sure it can only be through abusive mining and production!! So PLEASE before you buy from Temu or similar platforms, think about the salary of the workers as well as the safety of mother nature with all it's inhabitants!

I would never shop anything from temu no matter how good the quality is because of the slave labour. That is why they sell it so cheep because the labour conditions for the people digging out those crystals is inhumain an modern slavery.

Hello cbb! again, I'd be really interested to know if you will ever do a video on the fake sphalerite that's being sold on temu and other market places recently, it's a new trend that I've been seeing, it's not genuine sphalerite or even close to it, it's usually some lower grade of chalcedony or apophyllite from what I've seen in my purchases, I think it'd be a good thing to call attention to :)
