I think all of the bags are great. And your nature scene was very good. I like the way it turned out. Very nice. I like the blocks a lot. You and your sister come up with such awesome ideas and crafts. Thank you.😊
Oh Rachel, I know I said I didn't want any more crafting projects, but after seeing you teatowel, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I went to the knitting and stitching show in Harrogate today, and they had a large version of what you made. With the same sort of colours, I just had to get it. Thank you for sharing.
Love the meadow bag. You again show the many sides of Rachel. You did a great job on all. The tea towel is beautiful. I would frame the tea towel for kitchens decorations. I know you had fun with Dad and family working together. Have a great day.
I absolutely love your eye for colour and the mixture of prints. Your teatowel is gorgeous, and I would buy one if you started selling them. To fasten it to your handrail, why don't you just use the press studs they use on baby grows. You have made me think about yet another hobby that I don't have room for 😂. Lovely video, Rachel. I heard your name on one of the Americans tutorials where Tracy was doing the hand sewn blocks. Great to see your popular worldwide 🌐. ❤🎉😊
Oh Rachel, this video was right up my alley! I think I found a new craft to do. (Like I need another! Ha ha) This is great for travel as well. Thank you. I love your little pouch with the meadow scene.
You may have just given me the push to get my block printing started kit out and use it😂. I didn’t need a new hobby either, but eventually weakened. (I did last out a couple of years!) but still haven’t tried it - it is so lovely that you have your sister to ‘play with’. It is inspiring to share a hobby. Thank You for another lovely video Rachel
Lovely video 😍 I bought one of the starter kits a few years back from the same company. I then bought some calico shopping bags off Amazon and spent a day printing them and used them for holding Christmas presents that year instead of wrapping paper. It was really good fun. I think I’d like to get some of the zipped pouches that you have used next time.
Thanks so much for sharing Rachel. I am desperate to try Indian Block printing.....Im looking for traditional Indian designs like Paisley .....I really fancy printing on cotton and silk. I might buy a plain ish sari and use that. Xx
You nailed it!!!! It's very pretty, great job. Like you, I get worried every time I go to my local craft store. I really don't need any more hobbies!!!! Great job though. It'll be nice to be able to insert a few block printed squares into one of your quilts!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just loved this video and your printed fabrics look great. I particularly love the tea towel. You mentioned that you were printing on pre made bags but what sort of fabric would you buy if you wanted to print a load of fabric first and then make the bags?
I have a "for best" tea towel too, God forbid anyone try & use it to wipe their hands on😆. My fav is the meadow bag. You should keep this design in mind for your future fabric range 😉Also, did you see that your profile with a presentation is on the Alice Caroline newsletter ? Onwards & upwards ma belle xxxxx PS. Can you only use the paint on thick fabric ?
@@stitchwithrachel I’m not normally naughty, but have been caught out by autocorrect before, 😊. All I was saying was how much I absolutely adored your Indian block work and also that it reminded me of when I used to use stamps for papercraft. A life changer for me was when I learnt how to use masks so that you avoid stamping on top of another stamped area. Basically you stamp your pattern onto your [fabric] then stamp again, straight away onto scrap paper. Cut round this faded design, with a little margin, and then put it on top of the original.. You could tape it down if everything is dry. Then you can stamp again and if the design overlaps the first image, it actually looks really nice as it looks like one design is behind the other. If you’re interested, google using masks with rubber stamps - I did send you a link yesterday and perhaps that’s what scuppered me 😊 There are much better explanations out there than this!
The little bird/flower/ladybug pouch is so cute!

Thank you so much! ❤️
I bought a kit at the FofQ too. I definitely don’t need a new hobby but thought I could print my own fabric for a quilt or other projects.
Yeah I thought the same 🤣

Lovely projects! Yes, the pouch looks just like a meadow full of wildflowers. So nice to have a craft that the whole family can do together.
The prints are beautiful. But as you said - I don't a new hobby.😂
A little dabble doesn't hurt surely 🤣
I'm afraid it could be another rabbit hole. 😅

Great video. Interesting technique. Your meadow is lovely!!

Love the meadow picture!
Thank you ❤️
I've never done Indian block printing, and yet...I want to immediately order ink, stamps, and cloth to make curtains 😂😬
Me too.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Curtains, that would be awesome!
I love all the things you made. I think the tea towels would make great gifts for people.
That's such a good idea, they really would!

The prints all turned out so nicely.

Looks amazing Rachel
I purchased some blocks and paint at a fayre in August, you've inspired me to actually use them! Looks great
This looks so fun. I'll have to see if they sell in the US.
It is good fun, like being a child again and playing with paints!
Love the stamping. Perfect projects. ❤️🌺
I think it would be brilliant to embroider some on the printed designs. Lovely projects.
I thought immediately that I wanted to embroider them!
I thought that about my hexagon pouch!
I love the hedgerow pouch.

Great idea!
I must find the kit I bought a few years ago and have a play. The items you made are pretty and sparked my imagination. Thanks for sharing.
You did a lovely meadow.
Hello, Rachel.
I love your work. The stamps are awesome!!! I'll buy some tor me. Thanks. Kisses from Brasil😊❤🇧🇷
Hello Marcia 😃 I'm glad you enjoyed it ❤️

Wow I love it now I want to do it as well. Thank you for the inspiration
Go for it! You are welcome ❤️
Hello Rachel. This is new to me! Where do I start?
Hi Ann, hopefully I explain everything in the video but let me know if you have any other questions ❤️
So lovely!❤😊
So beautiful and lovely pattern layout and colours. Is that pre washed calico?
How do you clean the paint off the blocks?
Hi Cathy, I use warm soapy water and a brush, I do talk about this in more detail in the video but let me know if you have more questions ❤️
Beautiful job. How do you clean your stamps?
Hi Pam, just under warm running water with a soapy brush, I discuss this at the end of the video in a little more detail ❤️
Just loved this video and your printed fabrics look great. I particularly love the tea towel. You mentioned that you were printing on pre made bags but what sort of fabric would you buy if you wanted to print a load of fabric first and then make the bags?
Thank you, I think it needs to be cotton, certainly a natural fibre ❤️
❤❤❤
😍😍💫

Did my comment break some guidelines?
I don't know, did you say something naughty? 🤣 I don't recall seeing your initial comment so perhaps it got caught in youtube comment filtering
